Gotta say the Kv-4 for its tier is a fairly balanced tank. It’s one of the only tech tree tanks that can stand “toe to toe” with collectors and premium tanks. Great armor, and decent alpha. Only downside is the main spood and turning traverse. Love the tank, just can be a pain grinding due to many broken t8’s. It is what it is :/ Godspeed grinding out there fellow tankers!
The other gun is definitely better. You were shooting at tier 7 and 8 meds most of these games. The 122 is useless when you have to fight tier 9. Plus the accuracy of the 107 makes it so much more comfortable to play
What I truly envy is Droodles MM, he seems to get top tier more than any other player I’ve seen. When I play the KV4 I’m up against tier 9 at least 90% of the time, where the 122mm struggles to pen anything. For a player with his winrate and battle count he certainly seems to get good MM. Although his comments about the MM in his second battle are very relevant.
Sad to see the tank with the highest side armor in tier 8 not side scrape. I love taking the KV4 in realism mode because everyone underestimates how strong the side armor is.
@@fangzu612 nah that dude had skill, we fought on equal terms. KV-4 has faster reload, you just have to get lucky because both of them have great armour

@@jonathan5656 a T34 shouldn't even bounce in the first place. It also doesn't need calibrated because it already has alot of pen because it used to be a tier 9.
I have a 64% winrate in Kv4 with more than 150 games lol! I really love it...I run it with the 122m gun, the other gun idk...low alpha. Pen sometimes is tough to do...but it's possible
Running top gun is good but only if you are running the vertical stabilizers. Same as T32. If you don't have vertical stabilizers on those 2 tanks better no even play them.
having kv4 with 122m it almost feel like u are playing the vk 100 but better top speed and worst pen in my opinion kv4 is a solid tank but the downside is big cupola dont go hulldown with this tank enemy will slap your big fat cupola its best to distract the enemy like a maus
in my opinion, this is literally the worst tank in the entire Soviet tech tree, i tried playing it and ended up selling it again and again multiple times. If you want to grind the IS-4, maybe grind the is7 first so you can skip the kv4 and don't have to suffer *that* much when playing the ST-I. Also: it is not fun to play, i don't know how droodles can find playing this tank with that kind of armou fun.r, the Vk100 is much better imo.
Step 1: get premium tank (preferably Tier VIII) Step 2: get premium account Step 3: credit booster Step 4: profit Daily mission crates also give good ammounts of credits, especially if you have them upgraded to level 4 (wich means owning a single Tier X tech tree tank)

If you see a player running the 122mm you should expect a loss kek. DPM and alpha don't matter if you can't pen.

This tank surprisingly bounces a lot on flat ground. It’s quite okay, not great.
I blocked 7k in the Kv-4 yesterday
T34 with calibrated shells won’t bounce often against the kv4
