My favourite is probably Boss Bottled Elixir. While all the other guys did Elixirs that were some variation of sweet, Hugo Boss went at it from another direction altogether
They went the same Boss Bottled direction
Sauvage elixir is the real king of the elixirs.

Ashton thank you for highlighting that D n G Summer Vibes smells like Eau Intense. I tried it and felt the same way. Own Eau Intense so I see no need for Summer Vibes. The bottle is amazing by the way.

wish ash would get back into those old school single fragrance reviews he used to do. He is the best at in the fragrance community. Sad to see him change.

Hey Ash! Thanks for the daily content! I asked this in a previous video mentioning Habit Rouge Prive. Where the heck can I find it. It’s not at any discounter, Guerlain or other than eBay. I have not seen it at macys or ulta or Sephora. I am a huge fan of the EDP/EDT and really want this. Any suggestions form you or the community?
It was a limited edition run. I actually had to buy mine from Guerlain and have it shipped over. I'd set up a notification at Fragrancebuy.

Seems to me based on this video and the comments I already checked here that Prada Ocean EDP is really overlooked and underrated definitely a quality scent you should check out.

Yup, Habit Rouge Rouge Prive was in my top three along with JPG Elixir and Platine Prive.

Two that didn't make the list that I really like are Hugo Boss The Scent Magnetic, and Chopard Cedar Malaki.
I was blown away by how much I like Magnetic. It's backup bottle worthy.
Do you have any predictions for 2024 on what you think has the potential to be the next Versace Eros based on new fragrances that were released this year? There were some hot new releases. Invictus Elixir? Jean Paul Elixir? Any of them with potential to really blow up?

Agreed with number 1. I layered it with 01, 02, and 01+Iris (separately of course), and it gets even better!
You should do a review on TERRITOIRE PERFUMES specially TERRITOIRE PRIVE cuz that's a perfect clone of CH n they are affordable n great performance 😎👍🏼

It totally flew under the radar, no one was talking about it
It was OK. They played it really safe with a flanker of a flanker that wasn't impressive to begin with. When they did NV EDP they at least modified it enough to make it unique. What people are talking about is V&R watering down Spicebomb Extreme.

I own JPG Le Male Elixer but to me it’s overrated, too much hype. I prefer Le Male Le Parfum.
Definitely agree with the JPG Elixir being overhyped. It smells like Thalium.
I smelt that Guerlain Prive Rouge yesterday and I was so disappointed. Opening is rather harsh but the it does improve towards the mid and dry down but is defo a more mature scent
I’ve always just gone with blue de Chanel since high school but when I smelled the born in Roma intense I knew I had to get it. I wasn’t even thinking of testing it because of the bottle style but glad I did.
I thought Le Male Elixir would easily be my number one this year.... but.... to my surprise Boss Bottled won the battle of elixirs. But top 5 designers,

5. something from Zara, for example WO/01 Somewoody
I'm actually surprised that Gucci Guilty Elixir is not on the list. What an amazing scent!! For me it would have been in the number 2 spot after JPG Le Male Elixir. Boss Bottled Elixir is in the number 3 spot.

Don't honestly get all the fuss over Le Male Elixir. I think Le Parfum and Ultra Male are both superior. For this year I would have made room for Boss Scent Magnetic, on the list.

No YSL Y Intense?
Can anyone explain what “in the air” means? Does this add any information at all? I don’t know what the alternative is unless you’re sometimes licking people’s fragrances off them
The smell of a fragrance can change depending on whether you smell it in the air, or up close. In other words if you spray a fragrance on your hand and bury you nose in to smell it you may not like it. But if someone walked by with the same fragrance and you caught a whiff of it in the air you may love it.
JPG elixir is deserved.
Any clones out for Million Royale?
Le Male Elixir is my number 2. 1 Million Royal is my number 1. Gentleman Society and 212 VIP Black I Love NY are also in my top 5 of 2023.
I'm surprised that Bad Boy Extreme wasn't even cited on this video, although I didn't like it.

@@farhanzafry7330 Le Male Elixir performs better. In terms of aroma and occasions, I think 1 Million Royal is more versatile.
Just a matter of taste, I guess. I prefer JPG Le Male Le Parfum over JPG Le Male Elixir anytime, but if JPG Le Male Elixir is number one here, that means 2023 was not really a great year

Bleu eleqtrique is great for all year and if you want a fresh fragrance I’d go for that but if you want something more gentlemanly and a little more sweet/nutty I’d go for lomme ideal. Me personally I’d go for the guerlain
I have and love both, but I think Ideal Extreme smells a tiny bit better. It really does depend on your collection though. If it's a smaller collection, Bleu Electrique would probably be the better choice.

@@saulgoodmanandriese8658 quality is better and amazing performance. It still has that powdery aspect as le make but I feel the new Armani code parfum smells more modern then le make. In the end it comes down to preference so buy what ever you instead of listening to some guy on the internet.
What about Aventus Absolu?
Absolu Aventus is not a designer fragrance so it didn't qualify for this video. Having said that, I find it to be awesome, so does my wife, and it got quite a fee compliments at work as well. I've always found Aventus to be sort of 'meh'. This one is a homerun, IMO.
It’s to cheap. It can’t compare with to these
ADG Parfum was disappointing to me. I missed out on Profumo but Parfum smelled like EDP with some incense in the top and I got tired of it. Most of the releases this year have been flankers that all smelled roughly similar across brands. Pasion is the only thing on your table that is a new name. Mizilf is so generic I don't consider it original. The best release I've smelled this year has been Bad Boy Parfum and if you hated it you were wrong.
Tott understand you're comment everything has been flankers of flankers with more flankers and way overpriced. I will check out that Bad Boy Parfum you mentioned is it yr wearable?
@@mr.smellgood2794 It's straddling the line between mass market and niche imo. Heavy performance with a nice herbal cannabis/leather note. Awesome for cold weather and night wear. Most Bad Boy fans basically wanted Spicebomb Extreme out of the Parfum and wrote it off.
My favorites this yeah are Ch Man Pasion and Le male elixir, everything else is just meh

Victory Elixir is where I draw the line at just being way to fricking sweet. I did a blind buy on it and will never touch it again. It's so sweet I'm shocked that it isn't sticky. Seriously, it's liquified cotton candy, and when you smell it, you'll have no ither reaction to it. Oh sure, you can wear it - as long as you haven't passed puberty yet. Or if you're a chick - chicks can wear this stuff with no fear whatsover, it's so sweet that it's extremely feminine.

@@Water-10 ppl are really quick to pick le male cause it’s out there more but if you wanna be unique and smell fantastic I’d go for the Spicebomb but in the end buy whatever you feel is better for you both are pretty solid

Givenchy Gentleman Society was better than the whole top ten in this video
No offense meant, but while I found the scent to be pleasant, it didn't leave an impression on me. I found it a bit forgettable the same way I found Ralph's Club Elixir to be.
It's so interesting how taste in fragrances differ from person to person. I hate gentlemen society, not sure what it is but there is a note I cannot stand. I would have it no where near a top ten list. 😂
It's roughly in the same league as Mzilf. Basic and fresh. I really like it but I'm not going to pretend they outdid Guerlain. I'm also not paying over $100 for either.
