The Legend of Maula Jatt Synopsis:
The Legend of Maula Jatt is a 2022 Pakistani Punjabi-language Action Drama film Directed and written by Bilal Lashari. The film is an adaptation of the 1979 cult classic film Maula Jatt but it is considered neither a remake nor a sequel by the producers. Produced by Ammara Hikmat and Asad Jamil Khan under the production banner of Lashari Films and Encyclomedia. It is based on the characters and stories by Nasir Adeeb. The film stars Fawad Khan as the titular character with Hamza Ali Abbasi, Humaima Malik, Faris Shafi and Mahira Khan. In the film, a local folk hero named Maula Jatt takes on his archnemesis and the leader of a brutal clan, Noori Natt.

You cannot compare Fawad with Hamza, as they both gave the performance of their lives! Fawad can emote well without dialogue, especially when he enters his birth home and we see his expressions morphing from happy childhood memories, to the violence he witnessed when his father was murdered. All this was evoked to the audience just by his eyes, and facial expressions no dialogue, man that performance stabbed at my heart! I wish Fawad continued to do more dramas and films ,as it’s a loss to the industry that he is so seldom seen!

India me 'Maula Jatt' ke budget jitni 100 se bhi zyada filme hai. Aur utni hi usse 4x aur zyada budget wali bhi hai. Maula Jatt achhi movie hogi par uske liye India ki beizzati karne ki kya zaroorat hai.
They're not insulting India but Fawad worked after so long when they humiliated him & sent him back. And tbh that's not a way to treat a guest. He felt insulted & then people in İndustry felt bad that Fawad being a superstar in Pakistan wasn't respected the way he deserved. People really pushed him to work again. That's why they mentioned India. Otherwise no one cares.

And what happened with Fawad and other Pakistani actors was just an after-effect of unfortunate events - Uri Attack and Pulwama Attack. Many Bollywood celebs were against such ban but sometimes political pressure presides over everything. Today, Indians are even boycotting big Bollywood movies because of rising politically driven hatred. All I am saying is if we really want art to be freely moving beyond borders, artists should refrain from speaking such derogatory statements about each other's countries.

I love u all. There was a charm when these three were panelist. Mashallah they beautifully and critically analyse the technicalities of the drama and other entertainment forms like films.
Moreover, I believe there should be a male representation from the actors community, to discuss the do's and don'ts and difficulties faced by a male actor and there's no better option than #FaysalQurieshi.
There was a certain decency in this show while Faisal was here. And positive aspects of Pakistan were discussed, whereas now negative criticism is focused.
Please don't Mind but, In my opinion if the panelists has to be changed, there were many options of senior actors like Saleem Meraj, behroze sabzwari, Bushra Ansari etc. But Nadia Khan doesn't fit the bill.

Fawad and Mahira were great but their Punjabi accent was soooo bad- downright painful.
So what, many of my Sikh panjabi speaking friends from India loved it! Let’s face it many in both Pak and India cannot do accents well when speaking other languages too, especially of the character is supposed to be raised say in the UK/ USA but the accent when speaking English in the dramas fails! It’s no big deal!
