Never been a fan of this band ,But this song hits different. I went and checked out the album. DAMN as a musician I can see just how much they have grown during covid. He said he would do 100 attempts on the vocals just to get the absolute best on the album. As a musician I got mad respect for the effort and work ethic as well.

You can still love someone unconditionally even if you have to give up on them being in your actual life. I love my husband, and there is a place in my heart that will always belong to him, but I also know I'm the one who owns that heart space. Addiction is really hard. I'm so sorry that you love someone struggling with this. It will create codependent behavior and yes you will lose yourself. My husband and I have encountered friends (ex female best friend for me - and ex male best friend for him) that have tried to not only destroy us individually, but our marriage through a lot of lies and deception. We had to wait for each other and work through the lies to restore our broken trust, but is coming back. There are 2 types of broken people - people who want to destroy everything you've worked for and your happiness, and then broken people who are healing and want to help you heal too. ❤️
