Haha I understand this! I’m a quite intense introvert but whenever I feel like shutting off, the thing that fuels me is this question: is my desire to be comfortable and “charged” greater than my love for the people who are lonely? Jesus spent time alone too! He just made sure it didn’t interfere with healing and spending time with people. Steal away your time alone either early or late in the day and let the rest of your hours be spent serving others- it’s way better than shutting down and being alone, I promise!
