I use Nergals pedal combo, where I use two noise suppressor's. one after my gain pedal and one at the end of my pedal chain. no hiss, no buzz, instant silence when needed

It’s too subjective, I don’t even know what my preferred action is because it’s different on every guitar
Speed? Takes time but control is way more important
i've heard people online say that it is bad form to tremolo pick by pivoting the elbow, but some of your examples in this vid, like at 2:10, seem to be mostly elbow movement rather than wrist movement. I find it way easier and more comfortable to tremolo pick from the elbow, even at higher speeds, but am considering changing my technique because people claim it can lead to long term elbow damage. thoughts on this?
No elbow it will destroy your arm, wrist only

@@DevGohilsometimes I find that specific textures (of notes) when playing like you did @ 2:10 literally requires that movement because it frees the pick to develop a different rake angle and pressure against the strings.
