Mam sorry i may be wrong but (admin. overhead amt ) 5,700 when it is divided by 17,100 it is coming 0.333 instead of 0.344 (given in ans) and then the per unit cost for cost of production is coming 1.999 is it correct or wrong

Mam In question no. 3 machine hours worked shouldn't it come under direct expense? As per your notes only hiring of machinery comes under direct expense and other expenses like factory rent, insurance, electricity comes under factory overhead. Please clarify.

But Mam in the last question there was a (total machine worked cost) which is directly related in production, so it should be on direct expense but you charged it in indirect expense. Can you please explain this. And if there is carriage inwards given in question then where to put that, also explain please

Mam I am from Kashmir and preparing for accounts assistant post, mam cost of unit sold is @ 4 ,but for unsold (closing stock) 1100 you multiple it by 2 and for sold goods you multiple it by 4. I am confused.

Rs 4 is not cost of good sold..in question it is mentioned..when goods were sold then 16000 units were sold and each unit was sold at Rs 4. So to calculate the total sales I multiplied 16,000 with 4= 64,000.

Closing stock is valued at cost ..that is why I multiplied closing stock 1100 (17,100 -16,000) with cost of production @Rs 2.
