We just use particle board flooring, no pre priming, glue it down with something like Liquid Nails then pump in the 2 inch nails everywhere. It supposed to be ok exposed to rain for a few months I think. We would drill holes anywhere that's holding water. We don’t glue the joins, they have a plastic tongue.
Had some bad experiences with that glue I can tell ya, never good working underneath lads who are putting a floor down I can assure you 😂😂 Good job mark
Chears mate. Yere we do a bit of plastering. But this one a bit too big and a don't fancy it lol. They getting some plasters in they did the summer house and made a nice job of it. And it will speed the inside work up as me and Tim can crack on with the other stuff 👍👍👍👍
Why are the end joists butted up against the inner skin? Should be a gap to get any cables, pipework past without having to drill joist. Also good pratice to put a perimeter noggin in to stop sag on the ends of boards.
Hi Ed you right there is a big of a gap bit it bows in the middle to the wall. But its not big. I don't no why I didn't leave a bigger gap I normally do 👍👍👍you will have to remind me next week before next time lol
I wouldn't use a line for running in the boards, a batten is better - it's very easy to creep over your 10 mm on the edge, especially over any distance. Pukka looking job though!
Brad wants to know can you eat the glue 🤣🤣 nar fantastic work and great insights to the job .Be easy to lay off that i was always used to laying thr internals from the scaffolding them days are gone thank god mark.👍👍🧱
😂😂😂He could give it ago lol. Yere makes the job a lot easier. I used to put ply on as a temp but not worth it now with the price of wood. This way is a pritty good way of doing it 👍👍👍
Really interesting seeing new building products 👍 Build looks good, thanks for sharing. 🌱🌱🌱
Chears Elaine 👍👍👍
Nice view from the job site, great work on the flooring will create a good work platform
Yere it's a nice place to work. Definitely should be a lot easier to work from now. Cheers pat 👍👍👍
Coming together nicely mark & Tim 💪
Chears malc👍👍👍
nice work also gives you a bit of covered work for bad weather days
Chears Edward. Yere we saved a few small jobs under the boards. Just incase it rains on us 👍👍👍👍👍
Another good way to do it T&G flooring is to put screws on on your line and but up to the screws
Yere I like that idea Andy 👍👍👍

😂😂😂Stephen Yere I definitely wound not want to work under that glue 😂😂👍👍👍
Good work
Cheers mate 👍👍👍
Lovely job Mark, those joists look beefy is that because of the span.
Chears mate. Yere it's a 5m span so had to put 8x3in in. It's made a solid floor though 👍👍👍
Mark! You forgot your gloves for this evil glue (I understand, I hate to wear gloves 😉)
😂Yere I not too keen on gloves. But the first time I used this glue was quite painfull 😂. I make sure I don't get it on me now lol👍👍👍
Lovely job mark 💪💪 you and tim do the plastering too mark?🤔

How much of the glue did you use? Looking good Mark 👌🏼
Hi Richard is says a tub to 6 boards and that's what we managed. We did use a extra one for round the edges and covered the screw holes👍👍
