I've always told my granddaughter I would build her a playhouse in my woods except I don't know how. She just turned 10 and we still talk about that playhouse.

Stunning! I've always loved A frames. You've beautifully solved the one difficult aspect of headspace in the upper loft. I also appreciate the staggered A's so to speak, with the dining room that joins them together beautifully. Thank you for sharing this, I now have new ideas to ponder! I have missed your show; the respect for nature and enthusiasm for sharing knowledge, all to make peoples dreams come to life.

Hi Pete, I don't think the floor plan is well thought out because when I sleep upstairs and want to use the toilet, I always have to go down the ladder to do my business and then up the ladder again to sleep, so there is no toilet upstairs. I would also prefer stairs because when you get older, a ladder is not good and we are all getting older...... Greetings! Ivo

Pete is wrong calling the trees Tamaracks. I graduated University Montana Forestry and you learn about the native tree species. These trees are Western Larch in Montana. Tamarack are back east in Wisconsin Michigan etc.
They’re the same genus, Larix, but different species. Western Larch is Larix occidentalis, while Tamarack is Larix laricina.
That deck needs a hot tub.
This starts out looking so interesting but quickly becomes grotesque.
