TRIP REPORT | JetSuiteX - ERJ 135 - Burbank (BUR) to Las Vegas (LAS) | Economy

  • Welcome to another trip report! On June 18th, I decided to create a special trip report onboard JetSuiteX.
JetSuiteX is a public charter air carrier that sells tickets for flights between California, Montana, and Nevada in the United States. JetSuiteX flights depart from private jet terminals, separate from the terminals used by traditional airlines.
Pulling into JetSuiteX's temporary terminal, I wasn't impressed. It was basically a trailer with couches and a desk. They offered free WiFi and snacks, but the overall feel was worse than an actual terminal. Now this airline operates under the FAA Part 135 guideline, meaning that no TSA security is required. JetSuiteX advertised the fact that you can show up "15 minutes before departure."
When we boarded the plane, my opinion quickly changed. To put it lightly, it was amazing. The seats were very comfortable, the legroom was great, and overall it reminded me of NetJets (private jet). After a stunning takeoff over the greater Los Angeles area, there was a small service of drinks and snacks. Of course, the drinks were in glass cups!
If you ever get the opportunity to fly on JetSuiteX, I would definitely recommend it! Cheap ticket & amazing experience! Now that is hard to find these days.
    Hope you enjoy!
    Airline: JetSuiteX
    Aircraft: Embraer ERJ-135LR (N254JX)
    Seat: 10A (Economy)
    Flight Number: XE107

Wouldn’t be a QFS trip report if someone didn’t tell you to stop recording at one point

It's an airpark community... most, if not all the residents there own their own private aircraft which sits in their driveway just like a car. Except mist airpark communities are designed with the hangar/parking spot in back and the driveway up front.

The caption says luxury layout. I wish people would stop referring to it as luxury. I agree that you get more legroom and it's not three across but those seats are just a little bit more padded than what you would find on any budget airline. Nothing against JSX, the big difference is the less security hassle, the feeling of a VIP treatment via a lounge vs a terminal and minimal standby time. In that regards, it gives you a "feeling" of luxury.

Great video Quintin. Always has to be someone that thinks they have authority, glad you kept filming. Don't these people think that ones are on vacation and they are filming their experiences. Seems like a fun airline, they need to train their ground staff about cameras.

Question about that steep approach into Las Vegas- do you think it was for noise abatement reasons? You know, the “fly as high as possible for as long as possible before starting down” thing. Also, I think the FAA regs allow pilots to fly the approach above the ILS glide slope, but not below it, for obvious reasons. Anyway, nice video. Happy Landings! 🛬

Nice video! I fly private jets about once a month. I tried Jet Suite X back from Vegas a few months ago just to try it out. It is a cool option for not having to deal with security, but your sitting with a bunch of other people like a typical commuter flight so it's definitely not Private, but it was fun. I would recommend it for sure. Something weird was I asked for a water and they handed me a "box" of water that said "water" lol. It tasted like cardboard, so don't ask for water LOL.

"No recording on the ramp"--yea,right,sure thing......So you're in Sin City, what to do next? No FF credit nor does there seem to be any inhouse FF program--if one needs a rental car,how is that handled? I heard mention of Uber and Lyft.....Only downside I saw was the poor window alignment

    • @LAactor
      @LAactor Před 5 lety

The no recording on the ramp is the standard employee joke for the ramp agents. They use it to make you feel special because you get to set foot on their sacred restricted "ramp." None of them ever mean it. I remember seeing a shuttle to the rental car center at one point.

I remember when the west was a great place now nothing but woke. I remember flying on Air West from San Fran to Vegas in a yellow DC 9. That plane pinned you in the seat took off like a fighter right to 23,000 feet in no time. No fuel saving then. And we got free food and did not pay for bags now it's total crap. And Vegas is a joke now no talent to go see. Tom Jones, Sammy, Frank, Dean M. And dirt-cheap dinners and Breakfast. $6,99 for a prime rib dinner. This country has gone to the dogs.
