Great job on the installation my friend, I recently put up some videos on my Vespa because it needed an oil change and I self taught myself how to do it just by looking and seeing what I needed to do before I did something silly and possibly wrecked the Vespa but patience paid off and I did my first successful oil change on a two stroke moped
This is great. Didn’t know you could detach the case from the mount and carry it with you. Still, I would order one for my Bergman but have the dealership install it for me. My skills aren’t that great.👍
Mitch, great video, I have to laugh , I looked at so many top cases and this is the exact one I picked out for our new Bergman's, and then of course I searched for a video and here you are installing the exact same case. we are going to go with the brake light feature and back rest to go the distance. But you nailed it again. I use a forstner bit usually to drill the holes, but it looks like your bit worked just fine. Aloha, can't wait to see the van when I'm out on Maui next.

great video... just bought a Burgman 400 up in Vancouver... I looked up that box from a Canadian vendor and it's pretty much $600 with tax which doesn't include the mounting plate... yikes... I found that pricy for a plastic box.

Mitch, can the mount plate and rack to frame bracket/plate be used with the smaller case? The 47 Liter. Im debating on what size case still. 19-400 burgman.

whats the aerodamics riding with top case ? for now i wear back pack . i just put days food for lunch . heavy stuff goes under seat in trunk . i got on i 10 near tucson AZ for ride and the wind was wiping me a bit but she did it . with top case more wiping ? i am moving back to east coast SO GA OR NO FLA ? see you in daytona 2024 .

Mitch I need advise . I have mp3 500 2019 . 13400 ml on it I live USA So AZ moved here from NYC where I got it new . She runs good I done all services . But moto tech's in USA don't like to work on that scooter ? I am thinking of trading it for vespa GTS 300 hpe or Suzuki burgman 400 both new models they have them on showroom in stock now . What do I do ? I feel like I gonna trade apple for lemon ?
Trading is not that bad idea for these models… burgman and GTS are different style… I think you should sit on both and decide from there… both are very good bikes.. I owned 07 GTS 250 and still have my 07 burgman, if I have to pick one, I would pick burgman for more storage and comfortable on longer trips. GTS is more fun to ride… smaller and fast! Trading from 500 to 300 or 400 is not bad idea… GTS and burgman are still fast enough

Hey, yes any monokey topcase will fit on that plate… make sure it’s “monokey”

Buy the Yamaha Tmax tech 2022-2023 the rack will be much easier to do no drilling.
got the new burgman running , the made mistake put front wheel upside down cable wrong side . now she is fix so ride .
