Is the am kenyan really necessary??
As a Kenyan from Manhattan,New York im really proud when I see fellow Africans visiting each other and appreciating their fellow africans.Every African country should abolish Visas to enhance free movement of africans between these borders that were created in our minds by the colonialists. My dream is Africa will unite one day
I support your point with A bag of garri 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽 well said ❤️
@@VictorineBihTakwe we appreciate your efforts Sister.I will visit Yaounde hope i will be your host
Most of us Kenyans don't even know the difference between plantain and bananas, I only enjoy it while in good neibas Kampala, must eat ugandan dish.
Welcome to Kenya ❤️
Kenya looks so clean and organized, happy you enjoyed your stay.
My two friends once told me on different occasions, go outside Kenya , and you will ever appreciate Kenya thereafter.
It sank deep.
Indeed, You'll only appreciate it once you are travelled. I now appreciate our late president Moi, when he use to tell us,- Kenya is a beautiful country, let love and build it.❤
You didn’t mention that Kenya does not allow plastic bags in the country, only paper.
This was enjoyable and educative! Especially the way you do it. You’ve made me add Kenya to my bucket list of Countries to visit. Kenya sounds like fun 😄. Keep doing you girl ❤
We welcome you to our beautiful country. Karibu Kenya
We important plantain that's why

5:17 the government banned plastic carrier bags. Nowadays we are used to polypropylene bags for "small" shopping and sacks or cartons for "big" shopping

I will be sure to try and watch all the Tanzania vlogs. You get to experience a lot with a road trip compared to a flight. It is definitely a plus. Are we getting the Cameroonian pie video?

Thank you😊
Have Nigerian friends and they also say that our foods is not spicey. Have come to learn probably coz it's not peppery. The degree in which you guys use pepper isn't the same as us. We love pepper but not for it to be too peppery. We don't go have the tolerance for that.😊 Otherwise, safe travels, loved the video.
It is not about pepper, it is about spices... I never had a bad food experience in an African country as I did in Nairobi. You guys, are not good when it comes to food, sorry it not what you excel on.
My favourite Cameroonian CZcamsr. I have missed you on these streets.
Thank you Kiyah 🥰🥰🥰🥰
I like stanley enow man he cool i gist us more gist them more 254 is hood
Plantain is a delicacy from west Africa, very few Kenyans eat that, I don't know one place they grow plantains
its not a must you order an uber or bolt there are matatus which you can bord and they are realy pocket friendly, awesome ideo keep up
Accurate. Anyway in Kenya the meat is weighed not by hand but by a weighing scale hence more accurate. In development Kenya is ahead. Cameron, Egypt, Sudan, and most west and central Africa states they drive on the right side while in Kenya it's left
Such a humble cute respectful lady ,salute
🥰🥰🥰🥰
You happen to be my neighbor in nyayo estate..... fantastic
Nice video vicky❤
Victorine you had me cracking 😂 with mr plantain, you're such a vibe ; we do grow bananas but not as much as countries like Uganda and I imagine your country too. Maize flour for ugali is more much of our thing.
You such a vibe, good job mrembo
🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
My cameroon friend too mentioned this too....Enjoy Enjoy Too !. By the way , i also have an airbnb too 😊😊
😅😅😅😅😅😅. Hopefully next time I stay at your place
Welcome home gal.
Wowww ,,, your are a real vibe
Too bad you did not visit places. Nice that you went to Watamu
The realest!
Good luck sister, hope your channel develops and become great 👍
Thank you Torney, you are very kind. Your words really bless me .
@@VictorineBihTakwe you're welcome...
I like the humour. Greet the plantain and go back home my sister. Don't let it's price kill you. Greetings from Bamenda.
Plantain isn't a staple food in our country that's why it's expensive.
Karibu kanairo karibu kenya, tuna talanta ya kucheki weather, iyo jua ni ya mvua
Bonjour!
I live in Nyayo right next to your sister. If you are still around I can take you guys out to some places where you can shoot some amazing content.
Plantain is not common in Kenya but bananas are plenty and are preferred to plantain. Infact some people may not know plantain. Try shopping around you will get some.
I like how she talks in a funny way while the vlog is going on
☺️☺️☺️☺️
Next visit KISUMU CITY. TOWN OF BROVE. CLEVERNESS.
You have to be careful crossing the road in a different side drive country, cause you tend to look the first side you are used to which is always the wrong way. Else enjoy.
This should the video with highest views. Those are Kenyans for you.
Roysambu Kenya I subscribe..shes amazing. Bravo
Thank you😊
We dont do much plantains. Mostly a variety of bananas.
As a foreigner is understandable but Tip 1, Majority Kenyans dont buy grocery in supermarkets, they are deffinitely slightly overpriced, you needed to visit the makeshifts like the one you bought your fruits from, youll get better affordable price plus more quantity
Yeahhh this is true, even in Cameroon, super markets are more expensive. It’s well. Next time I visit I will visit the makeshifts
Wait, how is it that we share both names
Contrary a lot of them buy from major stores
No she is right middle class buy groceries in the supermarket..mr included..I buy in naivas or Carrefour is super affordable!!!
Weh, mama mboga, a national institution, is what you're calling makeshifts?
Kenyans stopped using plastic bags that's why u were surprised how we packaged your stuff...also if banana is same as plantain ..then you need to visit western or kisii Kenya...to get alot of green banana...in kisii it's highland with alot of rain and tea plantation...
Wow you are in Nyayo Estate. I live here.
We love you Bih
Great, I always take plantain, its a normal banana type in my locality. It is called 'mujuu'. This generation?
Yeah yeah, plantain's scarce here in Kenya, hence expensive.
Greetings
Great job
Shalom

Keep doing it, and you will achieve your goal. Just follow the steps of your destiny, and your beautiful heart ♥ will guide you through. May Jehovah Almighty God continues to bless. 🏩 Hotep
we don't use this plantain so much,so it's obviously expensive.
You are such a good narrator.
Thank you🙌🙌🙌
Another subscriber 🇰🇪
Thank youuuu💃🏽💃🏽💃🏽
First shot...Nyayo Estate Embakasi...that's my old neighborhood..
🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
Plantain is mostly exported.. I don't think it grows well in Kenya
There is lots of plantain if you go to the Market, the supermarket pricess is always high😂😂, next time buy the vegetables and fruits from the Market.
East African cities are very developed.
go to open air markets you will get very cheap plantain
When shopping for plantain go outside the estate ask for matoke or mandizi thank me later
We don't do spices too much
Plantain is not planted alot here but due to West African visitors/residents, some Farmers are doing on a small scale.
Is there a difference between plantain and bananas?
@@jamesmurag863 plantain is the huge banana variety not planted majorly in Kenya.
Plantains are largely planted at the coast but not on a large scale. Most of the plantains come from Tanzania
When you come back please also visit other kenyan cities like kisumu and Nakuru.
And Kisii too
@@tfl4963 Yes and Eldoret, Machakos,Kakamega,Meru, Kericho, Kisii, Nanyuki, Naivasha. All these are big Towns waiting to be given city status in the near future. For Eldoret paharps 10 years from now. The others 20 years.
@@Ledamasunshine101 True kabisa 🇰🇪 to the 🌎
Machakos is more developed than eldoret,,, eldoret looks like kitui town
@@japhethmutindamusyoka4094 I have been to both Towns. Eldoret is Kenya's 5th largest city after Nairobi,Mombasa,Kisumu and Nakuru in terms of built up area. Machakos is smaller than Eldoret Town. Besides being Kenya's grain basket,Eldoret has an international airport, satelite Towns and several industries.
Plantains are very expensive in Kenya. Kenya doesn't grow lots of Plantains
If plantain is green banana then in western part of kenya.and since it's not a staple food maybe that's why the price difference and also in supermarkets vegetables are expensive than on the streets
Plantains are not bananas.
I watched it full not because of your traveling content but your English...
Please learn what we call a beautiful woman like you Mrembo. Karibu Kenya
Asante Sana 🥰
Your experience as a Cameroonian is pretty much the same feeling when you come from DRC. Kenya is by far better organized and the people less edgy than in Douala or Kinshasa. However this thing about Uber and Bolt for me is good and bad at the same time. I was in Kenya two weeks ago and had to rely on my friends phone to get an Uber. I found it annoying not being able to get a taxi in the street whereas I could in Europe. But since the country is very organized I hope they will build sky train or metro which will put Nairobi further ahead of Central or Western Africa cities
Am a Kenyan ,the taxis are there besides bolt and Uber sir..and also you could use your phone to download the Uber or bolt apps ..
I think you may be asking about matatu's. They are there and stop at bus stops
The little plantain you'll find in Kenya comes from our neighbours Uganda.
I grow plantain in kiambu, I HV harvested twice so far
Oh woww, I loveeee plantains especially unripe
Around the coastal region of Kenya is where we use alot of spices, especially because of the Arab influence
Indians not Arabs, almost all spicy coastal dishes are indian cuisine,Arabs
Arabs and Indians yes, but mostly arab influence. Tuulize wenyewe wapwani
@@kimistyshariff972 vyakula vingi pwani ni za kihindi, mwarabu na desert atowe wapi spices,

We don't have plantin we have alot of bananas called matoke, us we don't eat what West Africas call plantin, I saw that in Europe when i come....try matoke and mash them is what we use
Ok Muchemi, I’ll try this 😁
