2023 Huntington Beach Jetski Freeride & Motosurf Racing Mark Gomez Vlog. 550 - SXR 160 & Superjet

One of my favorite events of the year, The Huntington Beach Motosurf and Freeride Exhibition event! It all went down May 6-7th south of the pier in Huntington beach. Surf was pretty decent and I was really stoked to be injury free coming into this event this year! Riding and racing in the surf is my roots as a rider so I was quick to get myself deeply involved racing 3 different classes and riding in the Rickter Freeride exhibitions. I raced a brand new 2023 Kawasaki SXR 160 Four stroke Stand up jetski in 1500 expert class. I raced 550 Vintage Open on the PJS mod 550, and Expert Lites on my Superjet. 12 motos though the weekend and 5 freeride sessions leaving the event with some hardware and awesome footage. Always a good time in Huntington Beach!

Those 550s were flying some sounded like a built 701 or something and the gas smelled so good vp gas with gastor 927 best smell in the world

Damn, I’ve been debating getting a stand-up ski for like a decade. Finally think I’m gonna pull the trigger, I’m just so torn between the superjet and the SX-R160 lol.
