I was looking forward to the Zeiss ZX1 this year. Waited and waited... then I got a craving for a leica, and low and behold the Leica TL2 looks identical to the ZX1. Hmmm perhaps that Zeiss rumor about a Leica buyout was suppose happen this year and maybe the ZX1 was part of the big plan to included as part of the beginning of new Zeiss / Leica deal that up to now, best I know has not happened. So does the TL2 have wifi and built in Lightroom maybe, do I care about the Zeiss any more- no.
Zeiss is heavier?! They are late to the party and have almost been sunk before release by the mighty Q2. The ZX1 has to come in well under the street price of the Leica in order to start competing.
