my starter keeps on grounding out click click sign clicks I replace a starter and I bench tested it and it works. I tested the starter down there I’m getting 12 V. I tested the little wire while trying to start it and I’m still getting 12 V every time I hit the start button I said in 12 signal, but it keeps on grounding out click and I get a full charge battery where is the ground on a 2015 Hyundai Santa Fe 3.3 thank you.
My 2005 Odyssey with 385K kms remained Parked all winter outside the garage in Canada. Now when tried to start no crank not sound. Found started burned. Replaced with brand new. Tried again to start with brand new battery, it does crank but for a second or less only, and not much. Thought engine seized, so I manually rotated engine pistons by moving the crank pulley which is at front right side behind the wheel. Still no help. What you can suggest? For now I took out spark plugs and sprayed "Sea Foam" penetrating oil.
I resolved it myself. After burning the starter motor at the first try mentioned above, and moving engine manually several time from crank pulley. I removed the serpentine (fan) belt and tried to move every (power steering pump, AC compressor, support pulley and Alternator) pulleies with hand or using some tool without damaging their surfaces. I was able to move almost all of them except the Alternator. It was really really jamed. Removed it (there are good videos how to). Tap it with hammer lightly all around and also sprayed in WD40 and Penetrating oil spray. Left it for over night and tap more next day with hammer. It started moving. I hammered it more after pinching or putting pressure on the edges where screw goes in to hold it with car body, because It again was almost felt jammed. Once got free in that position too, I was able to rotate the pulley with hands with any force. I put it back in. JOB DONE! Van started with a quick ignition crank just like brand new. Hope this detailed question and detailed solution help someone like me.

Nada nothing except everything but crank. New starter, checked old one it was toast. Now nothing. Good fix: Sign that reads if you can start it you can have.
Hay bro, I have the strangest of all starter problems. The starter swings, and the solenoid doesn't get engaged to crank over the engine, but the solenoid works when I tested it by itself with the starter but won't crank over the engine Need help to solve this problem
No crank , no start. After I run car awhile it will NOT start back. I have to wait several hours until it will start back up. Battery is good, connections good, alt good. Just wont start hot... info ?
@@benitocorpuz6336hey friend I have a few questions, I had a no crank no start no clicking nothing at all I got it towed to a body shop and the guy won't answer me 200 bucks for the tow anyways can someone up plug a camshaft sensor? Someone wanted to buy my car I wouldn't then this happened its a 2011 chevy Malibu 3.6 ltz oh and they pulled some fuses lol people are so dirty man! Help a lady out please
Could be you fuse box, when a fuse box gets hot the inside spreads apart then cools down bam it will start back up, take off your fuse box and heat it up you'll see where the break is then you can repair it easy! I hope this helps it's always that dam fuse box look it up and go see what I'm talking about
This is exactly what happened to my 13’ Escalade. I was driving then approached a stop sign and car just went dead on me. Battery was good but when I went to start it again, it wasn’t cranking only making one big click sound while I held the key in the start position
@@Yahs-our-El I haven’t really had any time to work on it or figure out what the issue is , so it’s just been sitting in my yard for the last few months but I’m really hoping it’s just the starter and nothing else major. One of these days I’ll have to go under and check if there’s any loose connections on it and maybe hit it a couple of times to see if it’ll start with that.
Wow, well explained bra, thanks

Back in the day you could touch the starter cable to the battery to test tried that so my problem might be the starter
To bad my starter under intake manifold so how can I do this
I had this issue on a 03 Hyundai Santa Fe and the connection was loose from the starter. This is after my wife told me she spilled oil...
If you change your starter and still nuthing ... try hand turning the belts ... motor could be seized ,
👍🏾😎 YESSIR 👏🏾👏🏾
I put a remote starter switch it’s starts up and runs but without it no crank
I put the car on jumper cables it made 2 clicks but no turning over.
How about alternator?

The battery is dead. After trying to turn it over several times will kill the battery.

The starter is on its way out. It's too weak to crank the engine because there is load.

I’m literally having this SAME issue with my car!
Did you solve it
You may have a camshaft sensor going bad. If you have a check engine light have it check with a diagnostic reader.
