The moon is one of my faves, I love the dog 🥰 Lol hippos are terrifying, they can do land AND water, at least you know where you're gonna find a shark 😂

Thank you for your walk through, the fomo has made me delve a bit deeper into my desire. Whilst I love the colours, it is a deck I think I would just look at. Not read with. But I love it for anyone who receives its edgy goodness. This deck is definitely giving active Yin and I am here for it. Ahhhhhhhhh.

The way I feel you on the squirrel brain bits lol. 🐿️🐿️🐿️ and I’m glad it wasn’t just me noticing how some cards are very pippish. Which I love pip decks, but generally I don’t want scenic and pip in one deck lol. And I kinda wonder why the wands are so pippish in this deck. But! Who cares, it’s gorgeous af and I love it lol. I’m so glad you wound up liking it 💖
Yeah, the wands are probably my least fave because they are much less decorative than the other pip cards. The cardstock is relatively thick but feels really nice, it's matte but glides over itself beautifully. However, another owner of the deck has commented on this video to warn me not to riffle shuffle the deck. They said that the holographic detail can cause the cards to bend right in the middle and that they learned the hard way (they ended up buying a replacement deck). So, the riffling I did in this video will now be the only time I shuffle this deck that way. Overhand only from now on, which I know can be a dealbreaker for some. I HIGHLY recommend NOT riffle shuffling this deck. The holographic embossing on the back makes it VERY prone to creasing right in the middle, unfortunately. Learned the hard way 😔 I literally bought the deck a second time, shipping and all, I love it so much.
Oh my goodness, thank you so much for the heads up! I go hard when riffle shuffling, so I would very have likely bent a bunch of cards! I'm sorry to hear that you had to find out the hard and expensive way but I'm glad you have another workable copy. x
I like the colours - very my little pony, but the artwork is not for me. There’s something slightly creepy and uncanny about it. That being said, I can see others really loving this deck.
Oh yeah, very creepy and uncanny. I am massively into low brow pop surrealist art (so much so, that I created my own POD deck of such art), so this deck definitely scratches that itch for me. x
Whenever an indie deck with promises like "femme" and "inclusive" turns out to feature only thin bodies, my queer fat femme's heart breaks. I feel so sad. If it was a mass market decks, I'd just roll my eyes and go "whatever". We expect them to exclude us, sadly. We're used to it. But here, it hurts because I can't help but have expectations. The deck is cute and trashy. I'd love to love it. Why is it that fantasy still rhymes with thin bodies? Oh... fatphobia.
Yes, you're right. I have to admit, that's one of the drawbacks of this deck. I failed to mention it in the video which I'm annoyed with myself for, in hindsight. My squirrel brain doesn't always retain the points I wish to make when I press record (even when I have notes in front of me, le sigh). I remember being irked by the lack of larger bodies when I saw the finished article, when copies started shipping out and people shared walkthroughs. I even bounced it further down my wishlist for a wee while due to it. I eventually kind of made my peace with it, and then finding out it was going OOP finally made me make a decision on whether to buy it or not. I'm really glad I have it because it is so wild and trippy and fun, I will have to enjoy it despite it's flaws. I agree with you on the fantasy seems to = perfect/slim bodies, even now. It's frustrating but I think (or at least hope) that the needle is shifting. Thank you for taking the time to watch. And please don't apologise for pms induced comments, you made perfectly valid points. x
Damn, you made me buy it! I have nothing like this in my collection and I picked up the limited edition (only 50) so I can pretend it's a good investment. It's not a cut and paste pip deck and many have interessting hints of meaning, so I can happily work with it. And now I know to avoid hippos, so thanks for that! 🦛💛

Yeah, I wonder too. Maybe a bit of burnout from creating a whole deck? It's a LOT of work. Either way, I'm loving it, so I don't mind so much.
