I grew up on the three really old school stuff. I still don't mind that early type of sound, I really think this sound suits me and my age now I've devolved a different sound of music for example mu favourite bands are ETID and parkway drive

The intro sort of sounds like the intro in knives and pens.
Personally i think it sounds more like Anberlin’s feel good drag. Then again thats the beauty of music, can sound like whatever we want it to, but i catch what ur sayin.

FYI, both of you and the OP have no ear at all. I just checked out the two songs that you guys mentioned, and they sound absolutely nothing like the intro in this song. Now listen to the intro in the song that I just mentioned in my last post, and you will see what having an ear for music being ripped off looks like.

Story of the Year’s album “The Contant” was put out by Epitaph Records. Wikipedia states that “All lyrics written by Dan Marsala and Adam Russell, all music composed by Story of the Year” on this album. 🙄 *Released* February 16, 2010 *Recorded* Mid 2009 _CLEARLY NO CREDIT WAS GIVEN TO THE BAND REFUSED!_
Refused’s album that had the “New Noise” song on it was called “The Shape of Punk to Come.” Wikipedia states that the album was: *Released* October 27, 1998 *Recorded* Late 1997 Album credits: Music By, Words By - Refused
The band (Refused) was broken up/taking a long hiatus during the period of time that Story of the Year’s “The Constant” was written/released. Wikipedia says that for Refused: *Years active* 1991-1998, 2012; 2014-present
“The Shape of Punk to Come” was originally released on the “Burning Heart” record label. However, Burning Heart has a close affiliation with Californian label Epitaph Records, who own the rights to distribute Burning Heart's output in North America.
_THEREFORE, BOTH ALBUMS WERE DISTRIBUTED ON THE “EPITAPH RECORDS” RECORD LABEL._ They new exactly what they were doing.
I imagine it would make Refused pretty pissed off if they ever come across that theft and butchering of their amazing, ORIGINAL music, wherein they didn’t even get writing credit.

Ya know, some see music as colors, some feel music as vibrations. Music is a universal language. U may hear a song and say it tells such a story where someone with an open mind may view it to tell a different story. To say to someone you have never met dont have an “ear” for music it may suprise you the the musical accomplishments one may has achieved. Myself for instance picked up a guitar years ago n “self taught” myself which id have to claim that u have to have somewhat of an ear for music. So calm ur horses, open your mind a lil and allow others their opinions. Not asking you to agree to others opinions but as a human species we are all entitled to our own opinions.

@@StrangeRealityVlog I was such a huge fan but ever since the way they kicked Phil Sneed out the band and then their latest album mostly having just 2 minute songs I just don't bother much anymore unfortunately. I'll still listen to their old albums like this one.
