The idea was to split the movie into 88 scenes and find people from around the world to recreate those scenes using whatever they had on hand during the various stay-at-home and physical distancing guidelines that were in place at the time (March 2020). Each team was given 1 week to complete their scene.
We were blown away by the creativity that this spawned! We ended up with over 300 people from 9 different countries contributing to the project! This "movie" contains actors of all ages and experience levels (including some fun cameos from the original actors of Back to the Future 2), puppets, animation, original music, cats, dogs, and even one scene performed entirely by bananas.
The best part of this process is that so many people told us after completing their scenes, that it was the best part of their week, or that it helped them take their minds of all of the craziness that is going in the world for even just a few hours.
We really hope you enjoy the "movie" and that maybe it inspired you to do something fun and creative as well!

32:00 A flying PT Cruiser as the DeLorean is the best thing ever. Two iconic cars that everybody loves to rag on but are actually adorable and timeless! Anyhow, great job to everybody who worked on this! I love that you chose Part 2 rather than the original BttF. So much more camp!
My congrats to everyone involved. Was smiling all the way through. Special kudos to the gang that filmed Doc, Marty, and Jennifer flying in the skies of Hill Valley in the rain. Well done! Also, I'm not sure if it was intentional or not, but the team that did the photo of Buford Tannen and gave him the screen test beard: Nice attention to detail there.
Outstanding work by all involved! Y'all took the Starwars Uncut concept and executed on it in record time....almost as if you had some way to travel in time...odd. Great stuff during a time of need. THANKS!!!!

Recognized at least one scene from my town of Bend, OR. The Bend written on the garbage can sealed the deal. 40 minutes in and this is awesome.

This is amazing! back to the future trilogy will always be my favorite movies of all time so watching this was a joy very impressed with everyone’s talents in this film. Very creative. Thank you everyone for this I love it!
