  • In this video, i will show you how to turn off your airbag warning light on your BMW e46.
You won't need any tools for this job and will not take you more than 30 seconds or so.
I was advised by a mechanic that this if just the fuse for the instrument cluster and that the airbag will still pop in an accident.
If there are any BMW mechanics watching this, please confirm in the comments section down below.

@@brookemcquale5096 I presume that by "chicken scratch" you are referring to the use of additional vowels with commas above them. Well, if one wants to communicate ones thoughts and ideas in the simplest of terms, so as to allow even those of minimal verbal capacity and limited vocabulary to understand the written text, I suppose the 7 vowels of the English language might suffice, thus resorting to representing the 14 vowel sounds of the spoken language by doubling or otherwise altering the represented sound of each written vowel. Icelandic is a far more complex (and slightly older) language and can not limit itself by such devaluation. Thus it is, that in order to fully understand and appreciate the written text in our old language we have a/á - e/é - i/í - o/ó - u/ú - y/ý - and in addition to those we also have æ and ö - each of these representing a specific sound in the spoken language.
      Happy new year :-)

Don't risk your life and others the best solution is to find out the reason why the airbag check light is on. Best of luck.

When the vehicle is first started, the SRS light should illuminate for 1 to 5 seconds while the system goes through a self-test sequence. If the light goes out, then the system is ready. If the light stays on, there is a fault somewhere in the SRS system. The system is disabled at this point. In the case of a collision, the airbags will not deploy and the seat belts will not tighten, nor will any additional features activate.

When the airbag system has a malfunction that makes the light come on, none of the airbags will deploy. Removing the light from the dashboard by pulling a fuse out does not change it. I have worked at bmw 12 years This is not a good move .If the car is petrol .open the glove box .leave it open , drive to the petrol station , in the petrol station. fill the car full with diesel, only diesel ,then close the glove box ,and set off for a drive, when the car comes to judder and finally stops it will never start again . you will not be worrierd about the airbag light . problem solved . or buy 2 goats .
