I started during the summer and now I'm half through season 14 but havent't watched an episode for almost 2 weeks... Sometimes it is so hard and boring, 20 minutes ep feels like an hour. But it's still worth it i think and I like the show
I don't understand why miniguns in movies and TV always get slowed down by the sound effect team. The continuous "brrrrrrrrrt" wich makes it impossible to even try to recognize a single shot is much more intimidating and bad ass than some slow firing generic machine gun sound effect.
They do the same thing with the MG42 in WW2 movies, the real thing would eat a 200 round belt in a few seconds, while in some movies it sounds like a damn 50 cal.

Real reason is the combination of several- many movies use actual blank-firing MG's as props, so its simply more cost-effective to fire them more slowly, the sound of slow firing weapons was often more iconic than modern RPM weapons to the average moviegoer, and nowadays even if these issues are gone, the tradition is still there. Also the M134 depicted here is just firing more slowly because Seth McFarland physically cannot speak much faster. At the full ~6000 RPM, his "giggity's" wouldn't sound anything like human speech anyway.
