This review is awesome and for that I just put my order in for one can't wait to build it. Had the TRX-4 kit and sport loved them both. But this element enduro is on another level.
Other than body choice, bumpers and servo, our Enduro set ups are nearly identical. Associated for Life! 👍🏼

I would definitely have to agree , i also have that same holmes hobbies motor in my trx4 sport kit . Paired with brass c hubs and portal covers with proline krawler tires ( I like the scale / realistic look ) and some high clearance aluminum bumpers I made , it's a great truck . Definitely dont regret buying it .

I have TRX4 Blazer and was looking to get a kit to put together with the kids. I went with the TRX Sport only because of all the weaker plastic included in the kit. If they included all the upgraded plastic and charged an extra $20-30, I’d had gone with the Element instead. For now I’m skipping and getting a Capra and waiting for the Element kit to include the better plastics.
I just got the enduro rtr and put in the 20kg servo and a 550 motor..only thing left is a hobby wing 1080 esc..I also installed the 12% overdrive..it does lines my trx-4 will not do without throttle..amazing machine!

It has no overdrive but every upgrade that is worth a shit done to it.
For lcg build I would go for element or axial everything else trx4 sport 👌🏻
For what the TRX-4 Sport Unassembled kit offers, though, with a full body, scale accessories, and decent quality tires, it is a close call. If they offered a pure "bare bones" kit, like competitor offerings, it would probably surpass Element in sales. I'm thinking of taking my Sport kit clear body, accessories, and wheels, and selling the chassis kit, because I have a Bronco pre-roller chassis that will need a body, and I like the Sport body.
Why wouldn't u just sell the new body and new tire and wheelset on eBay after picking up the trx4 kit ? Doesent that make the trx4 a way cheaper "custom" kit than the element????? Am I being punked? ;-)

The trx4 is the way to go based on what you want to do with it. It is built like a tank.

I really like the Element Enduro, Mine is the RTR with 5 slots 16t motor, but I'm using the 1080 esc , rc4wd Wrangler MTR 4,7" tires at aluminum Method wheels and all hard plastic upgrades. Looking to use the new Holmes hobbies Crawlmaster sport 550 5 slots when need to replace the motor.

Does it need a lipo battery or does other batterys (nihm) also go?

I'm a ways off from my first crawler purchase but I always like to get the best value and performance. Element vs Redcat vs Traxxas? I say Element, though there are no portals. Are they essential? I'm torn.

I think you mentioned a Fly Sky GT3 in the video but I got a GT2 for a Tamiya re-re I recently built up. Could I use that and another receiver?

I purchased the Enduro Element builders kit based off your assessment and videos. My electronic setup is almost identical except I'm trying the Reedy 16T 5 slot Radon 2 crawler motor.
Unfortunately my build is delayed due to the"back order" of the hard plastic parts. I'm not impatient.... Just anxious.
$240 + $70 for wheels and tires + $40 for a body is $350 if you want to get what comes in the TRX4 Sport Kit. I’m sure it’s great if you already have bodies and wheels and tires. That’s also the same price for an RTR. What makes it better? If you put the TRX4 body on it and the TRX4 wheels and tires on would it still be better?

I had a look at Amain and I didnt see any brass wheel weights etc like my trx 4 is getting... are they not out for the element yet
It's been a few months now- has there been any issues with the drive shaft angels from the trans- looks (in the pics) to be pretty close to be binding(?)

Why did you use a 27 turn motor vs a 35 turn motor. I have found the 35 turns have a little more torque but there is really not much of a difference in speed.

Hi Francis, I just finished building my kit and I was surprised that the pinion gear that goes on the motor shaft is not in the kit. What size did you use? In the manual, they say 18t... and I wich pitch I should go with...? 18T 48 pitch?!

sendero kit vertion .but after i put everything together .. the transmition i very noisy ..i would say way too noisy ..!!

I don't own this kit but have an old school stealth transmission and it was pretty quiet. Make sure the pinion/spur mesh is correct and there isn't any debris between them.
How does this compare to the trx4 sport right outta the box? is this low cost element build the better crawler??
How did the box, the scholar has a lot of flex and it needs to be stiffened up. Also the tires are not very good. The body as well as flimsy. It’s a great chassis but he needs a lot of upgrades. But the Trx4 sport Is more dialed.

Ha ha ha, I have the exact same set up, remote, esc, servo (but the 25kg) and motor. I just run a Xtraspeed Jeep Cherokee body and Traxxas Canyon Trail tires.

I just bought it yesterday and im already alost done building it.
The only thing better than building and upgrading is running it.

Nice video as usual. Now a question: why rock crawlers have not stabilizer bars?
Stablizer bars keep the body level and prevent articulation of the suspension during cornering.
