The table is full of iconic, talented actors.
Carey Mulligan is very subtle yet strong as an actress feel.
how is this table even possible I MEAN omg
Yeah cate Blanchett is there
It's show business, of course it's possible...
this table is just legendary... literally filled with the greatest to ever do it. im still shook that it even happened
If Mulligan ends up winning this year, there were 7 best actress winners in this table.
Charlotte Rampling doesn't have an Oscar.
@@mitchschouten581 I mean Blanchett, Fonda, Mirren, Winslet, Lawrence, Larson. That's 6. If Mulligan wins, that's 7.
@@frederic3988 ah gotcha. My bad. Didn't realize there were 8 of them there haha.
She didn’t win this year. But for sure she’ll win in the future hopefully in Maestro it’s a biopoc with Bradley Cooper.
Winning an oscar doesn't mean anything. So many overrated actors/films won and the greatest actress alive didn't, so...
Toni Collette is just so incredible. Good choice Kate!
I remember seeing Carey Mulligan in school in a little BBC production called Bleak House. Mad she became a full on Hollywood star.
I really hope the Toni Collette and Kate Winslet to happen
This round table is a dream come true for people who loves movies ,a bunch of extraordinary actresses ,tons of talented ladies !
Gena Rowlands is the best ever. And Carey is right. Marion is so good. You never think you're watching acting.
Saw Marion in "Le Vie En Rose" and "Allied," really enjoyed her both times.
Of the ladies gathered at this table is a great actress with whom I wanted to star in a film, even if I'm not an actor: the incomparable Charlotte Rampling. I love this woman!
I'd be intimidated if I was interviewing them together
Vanessa Redgrave is my favorite actress of all time. Glad Jane mentioned her.
Redgrave has such a presence. I would love if she simply narrated more things. Her voice alone is lovely but she does so much acting in her eyes.
I would have said Meryl and Viola right off the bat. But there are so many extraordinary actresses that would go unnamed..
Carey has a stellar filmography . She chooses her parts wisely.
British actresses... a huge difference ; classy, knowledgable and down to earth
Um Marion is French
The first time I watched Cotillard was in Taxi. A second-rate film where she was an eye candy bouncing on a couch being funny in a ridiculously French way. Then she did films like Jeux d'enfants, Big Fish, Mary and Innocence in about two years, and we knew she was world class. La môme was only a delayed success. Prolific actor.
I believe more than half this table, and Marion, have worked with Matthias Schoenaerts.
Came here to say this lmao
@A L oh wow!!! Didnt know that. Loved him in far from the madding crowd
With Leonardo DiCaprio too
@@angierocio8852 yes!!
Cate,Kate,Carey,Jennifer
I don't know if Kate Winslet had already worked with him but they are in a new series together
I didn't realize Cate Blanchett was going to play Lucille Ball before Nicole Kidman got the part.
Name of great actress-"mmmm"
Name of other great actres- "aaah"
lmaooo specially when the europeans mentioned other european actresses that weren't very appreciated in american cinema
Anna Magniani, a legend
Wow such an amazing ensemble of talent & Oscar winners !
I wish Toni Collette was nominated and spoken about!
Legendary table.
Charlotte Rampling! Age like fine wine.
JULIA (1977) with Jane Fonda is my favorite film. But Vanessa Redgrave's performance shines in a film filled with great performances. Set in the 1930's the themes of anti-fascism, friendship, art and theater are blended in a perfect film. It's unique in capturing the plight of a writer, Lillian Hellman/Fonda, as she struggles with her first play. We see Hellman walking on the beach and in the background the turbulent ocean waves are churning like the thoughts in her head. Brilliant shot. The story of Hellman's friendship with Julia/Redgrave. The apogee is the tense, fraught scene between Hellman and Julia in a Berlin tavern as Hellman smuggles in cash for anti-Nazi activities, and while Fonda is excellent, Fonda herself said Redgrave's performance was on an entirely elevated level.
Oh! So is Cate Blanchett referencing the Lucille Ball film that was eventually cast with fellow Aussie, Nicole Kidman?
Cate should have done it.
oh so Cate was supposed to play Lucille instead of Nicole Kidman? Interesting...
But dropped out
Why is Kate Winslet sat like Eren told her to keep her hands on the damn table
I’m with Kate Winslet’s choice: Toni Collette, also with Carey Mulligan’s choice: Marion Cotillard
toni collette and Marion rock
Wow La mayoría de mis actrices favoritas reunidas 💕
I Love u Carey 💕
I would be Carey will not answer till called
Me too😭😂
Same here
THEY ARE MY LOVE
Wait now I need to see a kate winslet/ Toni Colllett movie
Carey Mulligan is the Kate Middleton of Hollywood
I’m unsure what this comment means.
So...what are you saying? 🤨
@@Adriaan2005 elegant, seemingly lowkey, easy to pass over (not flashy) but will be remembered and respected
@@blueswan7655Lol, Kate Middleton respected by whom? Must be a bunch of sheep.
Still waiting for Kate and Toni Collette to work together 😢
Could someone tell me what Charlotte Rampling's answer was?
Monica Vitti
Monica Vitti
Claudia Silvestrini Thank you!
The amount of money that sits on this table....
For me it is Alicia Vikander
❤❤❤
So many eggs for one table.
Cate blanchett ❤️
Jennifer is quick
Chandler Sun so quick-witted it actually makes me hate her a little hehe. But she's right, who wouldn't wanna work with these ladies, all of them.
Nicole Kidman is fine, but Cate Blanchett would have been much better as Lucy.I wish that had come to pass.
Sorry Cate Blanchett, Nicole Kidman is playing Lucille Ball 🤪
After Cate's cartoonish portrayal of Hepburn, it's a relief. And Nicole looks great in the trailers.
Mr. Bean
WHY IS JENNIFER LAWRENCE THERE omg... she doesn’t measure up at all.
ikr
What do you mean
Jennifer is definitely a better actress than Carey Mulligan
@@nickxyx2879 hell no
kacper xyx
I very strongly disagree that Lawrence is a better actress than Mulligan.
Only Hollywood actresses!
All over hem ❤😂
All great actresses but....was this panel specializing in white and blonde? Or is that just Hollywood....
@Girl in the red scarf The panelists for this round table are always selected, and the round table discussion filmed and initially broadcast, before the Oscar nominations are announced. Rampling and Mulligan both gave performances that received a lot of buzz that year- Rampling wound up being nominated but Mulligan wasn’t in 2015.
hellen and jennifer are for the streets
Lol Jennifer Lawrence looked like a peasant in front of those educated actresses. She should really thank harvey weinstein for her Oscar.
Oestrogen gang😂
Im surprised Brie Larson is at this table with no diversity!!!
Soooooooo whhhiiiiitttttteeeee
I can feel the tension on that table. Cat fight.
what nonsense!
That stereotype about women hating each other has to stop. Get a new brain
