I'm not keen on Rachel Johnson either and would love to see Sangita back, but I'm pretty sure Sangita would agree with Rachel on this. Galloway's words sounded outdated and homophobic IMO.
Galloway criticized the behavior not the person doing it. But Bastani tried to misrepresent what Galloway said. Like if you criticize alcohol consumption behavior and say I don’t want my kids to be taught that drinking is the norm. Then someone claims that you said people who drink alcohol are not normal.
Galloway doesn’t think that people are different types . He thinks they’re all the same but have different behaviors. And he said he would respect them even if he doesn’t identify with their behavior.

OK, in my opinion GG is a homophobe and has had to hide it away for all of his political career until he could finally embrace it now that he feels that he needs the Muslim vote to have any chance to remain in office when the GE comes along. I have this opinion because he said homophobic things and then when called out on it refused to clarify or dismiss it and ended up hanging up the phone. This is called evidence to support my opinion.
