I love the cover! Though I picked up the Richard Pace cover as I really enjoyed his work in the SSoC #2. But yeah, this cover is a repaint of a Kull comic cover drawn by Mike Ploog. I want to say Kull#11, By this Axe I Rule. Alex Horley did a great job with this one repaint!
You mean it's a tribute to the cover behind me in the video? :) Yeah, good catch. I didn't even notice that! There's definately some differences, Horley put his own twist on it, but it's definately a homage.
One question to you the 2 Kull comic books on your right. Is the character trying to transform into a snake, or is that for show on the front cover?. Thanks.
It’s a two part storyline involving the serpent men, who can disguise themselves as humans. Barry Windsor Smith drew Kull on one cover, and then drew him as a serpent man on the second cover, which ended up being the last issue of the series.
Great cover art!
Easily one of my favorite issues so far. I agree that not a lot happens but the art, the narration, and those final few pages were top notch.
3 epic events in one comic.
The pacing is epic to even more epic
Thank you so much for the kind words about my essays! I really appreciate it. ⚔️
It's writers and artists like this that Tarzan needs!

@@ToddLuck Ha! So it is! I didn't even notice it there.
I am a huge sucker for homage covers.
The Horley cover is great , It is an homage to the Mike Ploog "By This Axe I Rule " Kull cover you have displayed behind you.
