Nice to see you getting your jokes and laugh back. I got strands fairly easily but spent an hour on connections. Missed the Red category.

I abandoned Strands for probably only the second time. Couldnt get most of the words without two hints even though i did know most of them just couldnt see them.Connections i found straightforward (which is an improvement after yesterdays total fail)

I may be in the minority, but I actually prefer these unedited "all-in-one" type videos!

To be clear these are still edited for time, which is why I include the timer so you know how much was edited

Tartan and Argyle are both Scottish patterns, you'll see them on kilts often, tartan being the much more famous. Gingham (pronounced Ging-em with a hard G) is basically the classic picnic blanket pattern

I've said this elsewhere , the American hosts have had difficulty with tartan today. There was a farming family in Scotland that were also political but they all joined different parties. Labour (red) Consevative ( blue) and Liberal ( yellow then orange) . They were known as the tartan Mackies.
Here I am thinking Scotland over does the promotion of tartan and yet the USA has no clue about it !

I've seen the tartan pattern but I never knew its name. I think I would have probably just called it a kilt pattern?

@@Rangsk Americans seem wedded to the term PLAID which isn't much used in Scotland except for a large piece of cloth wrapped round the body - a woman can tuck her baby in it to carry it. We more commonly describe the patterns as tartans.

Before I started using ROUTE and SNAIL exclusively, my standard opening was LATER and SONIC.
Very similar to TRACE and SOLID, except you test for the letter "D" whereas I opted for "N".

Perfect Connections! I made one error: DEAR, DELICATE, SENSITIVE, TENDER (what was I thinking?) It took me some time to find my favorite operating system: GNU (not UNIX).
Impossible Strands. I had to take hints too. WTH is "gingham"?
    Great Mini. 2:25. for me.
Good Wordle! I was in the _OLLY trap and had to play a test word to decide between LOLLY+/FOLLY/DOLLY: AROSE, THING, CLUMP, JOLLY, LIKED, DOLLY. Phew!
Nice Betweenle. 9 guesses for me: LUMPY, VIGIL, TEMPO, TOTEM, TUTOR, TRUST, TRUNK, TRUMP, TRULY.
Brilliant Symble. I played SONIC, BOARD, TOKEN, WOVEN.
