Yep! The ones near the start are easy but then I show some secret ones that I bet 99% of users don't really know about! Like for instance, editing messages in the middle of the sentence or using the sed command.

Nice vid, learned a couple new things, but adding some explanations for some of the tricks would have been cool. For example, why the blank message works: surrounding text by single underscores is another way to make it italic. So what you're doing is sending a message with an italicized space. You can do the same by sending a bolded space, for example. In addition, the colored text works because the keywords you write at the beginning are names of programming languages, so you're making Discord think you're writing code where certain kinds of statements are colored in certain colors.

I knew most of these, but I didn't know of the strikethrough or underline! Very cool. I love the code blocks, it makes it very useful to share code with other IT students. The first letters after the 3 `'s specifies what programming language it is. I think using ```json
"Hello"
``` makes it cyan. But it looks like bash does about the same thing. Very nice video!

you can just select message and then choose how you want to edit it, like add bold or italic. its more simplier

To spoiler images on mobile, add "SPOILER_" in front of the file name. When you send it, it will be marked as a spoiler.

the "syntax" is a code syntax. usually the code block would be used for programming languages, such as C#, python, lua, etc. but it has been popularized for formatting as some syntax use colored text to help programmers by color coding text and get a neat look.

Using a language that goes right-to-left really screws many of these, expecially if combined with left-to-right script in the same message, so a little bit more playing for Hebrew and Arabic, but it is possible too.

6:23 There’s a setting in the roles tab where you can enable/disable if user’s links will be previewed as it is here, which is called the “Embed Links”.

With the triple code block thing, if you write the coding language direcy after the ``` without spaces, text will appear in the coding way. Discovered this as a programmer myself which is the reason behind the colored text
