    Very thought provoking. I can identify cobra effects in UK politics, and its spillover on the members of public. And it's happening despite the public having a say in the matters of public policy. It just baffles me!

      Thanks for your amazing comment.
      I believe the politicians have learned that it makes sense to pretend to 'give' the decision making power to the public, because they know social media can be used much more effectively (narrow-casting and all) to sway public opinion.
      I am well aware of these things, but I've set the boundaries of this channel to objective explanations. Also, bringing politics in would have made this video about 50-60 minutes long.
