- UNC wide receiver Tez Walker had quite the memorable season in his lone campaign with the Tar Heels. The dynamic wideout made headlines early for being held out for the first few games of the season after transferring to Chapel Hill. Once Walker was cleared to play, he proved to be worth the wait. Most guys his size aren't very elusive, but they're usually better at breaking tackles. He goes down surprisingly easy for his size. Not a huge deal bc he'll mostly be a deep ball WR.

His run after catch needs work.
When he puts some weight on, I could see him being a Mike Wallace- type receiver.
A lot of throws are thrown behind him, really stopping his momentum for any yards after catch. Cmon Maye, put it in the pocket!!

He will be a good WR3/WR4 in his first year and probably a solid WR2 beyond that. I don’t think he has the footwork or explosiveness to be a WR1 in the early part of his career.
He's explosive, but lacks the route running prowess and lateral agility. I was hoping to see Tez make more people miss in the open field and create YAC. At this point he looks like a pure vertical threat, but there are a lot more routes he could develop off this talent to get open underneath.
@@BCFC954 meh at 6'3 200 pounds u dont really need a WR w pristine route running. he prolly wont ever be too polish just cuz of his body type. i think this reel didnt really showed case his YAC he is strong w the ball in his hands. not shifty, but strong. grerat ball tracking too. i would love to see him in buffalo w diggs and kincaid. like a much better gabe davis
He just needs to bulk up 15 pounds to get stronger. He does not have a lot of leg strength to break tackles and develop spin moves for additional YAC. With the right coaching, he could develop into a borderline WR1

I may just be suffering from PTSD from drafting Quentin Johnston in Dynasty but he doesn’t display a lot of nuance in these highlights I’m a bit concerned if he struggles to separate at the next level he could be a dud

@@mtj3314 I knew he was “Raw” which is becoming a scarier label every given year especially now that the undersized prospects like Tank Dell, Devonta Smith, and Zay Flowers are hitting more and more in the modern NFL.
looks like he separates more than odunze and keon coleman. could be an issue for all of them though
What worries me is that this is his "highlights"... if this is truly the best plays of the year for him I would also be very concerned given that he rounds his routes out almost everytime, runs go routes which may not be as open in the NFL, and his explosiveness off the snap just isn't what I would expect. Now his deep threat at his size is def there and he seems to find the open areas in zones so he likely has a place but I would agree that it scares me that he just doesn't have much outside of that speed and catch radius.

Drake looks like he benefited from excellent wide receiver play. Tez caught three in one game, then 4 for the rest of the year…. I’m not interested in Drak at all. Tez looks like a hidden gem
Total opposite. Drake’s best receiver prior to this yr was Josh Downs, his only receiver. This past season, Tez only played half a season and still performed. But don’t sleep on Maye, he’s gonna be a star in the league soon

@@cyberry3297 nope. I’m only looking at Tez, Brian and Troy Franklin. Legette is way too similar to Metcalf and is more a playmaker than a wide receiver. KC has Rashee Rice as the playmaker and they need a legit wideout who can create space, separate and catch. Also, Legette is very lacklustre on plays not involving him
