Hey don't worry dude..i am the same case as u, we all worry since we don't get a proper glass that doesn't really matter after choosing the best one we definitely feel gud!
I was an optician myself for many years before I retired to play golf. You did wonderful job taking your viewers through the process of getting your eyes examined and getting your own prescription glasses for the first time. One of the first things the doctor did was to do a pre exam of your eyes. That was one of the things I usually did. By doing that it saves the doctor a lot of time in refracting your eyes for glasses. Refracting means determining the exact prescription that gives your eyes the very best vision. Then once the pre eye exam was done he used a test frame that he slide various lenses in to that further fine tuned the exact prescription your glasses was going to made in. He had you continue wearing the test frame with the same lenses your glasses were going to have in them to make sure you were seeing without any issues. I didn't under stand everything he was saying to you due to a language difference but I heard him say something about "myopia" and that's more commonly known as being nearsighted which is really quite common for a young woman around your age to be. Now you just need to get used to wearing them But your improved vision should make it easier to get get used to them and the more you wear them the faster your eyes will fully adjust to the prescription of your glasses as well. This is your first day wearing glasses and I hope that you kept them on the rest of the day.. By the end of the day don't be surprised that things will probably look more blurry to you than they did before you got your glasses. Wearing glasses hasn't done any harm to your eyes, all that has happened is that your eyes had gotten more adjusted to seeing with the help of your glasses and there not straining to see things anymore. It's very normal to feel strange wearing glasses for the first time for the first few days but after those first few days your glasses will become so comfortable that you will hardly even notice that your wearing glasses anymore. I gave you a like and subscribed to you so I will be looking forward to seeing upcoming videos with you wearing glasses. Wearing glasses will also provide you with more of a journalist appearance which should give you even more creditability. Not to mention how cute you look wearing glasses now.

@@DaySeeAndJude The best way to adjust to wearing glasses is by putting your glasses as soon as you're out of bed in the morning. and not taking them off the rest of the day. Don't take them, except to maybe clean the lenses if they need cleaning, until you're getting back in bed that night. The reason this helps with getting used to wearing your glasses is because your eyes are the freshest first thing in them morning and totally unstrained. This is what we always recommended to patients that were wearing glasses for the first time like you are. Try it, it really works. After a day or two your glasses will feel much more comfortable to you. Are you able to notice the difference in your eyesight between how you're able to see things wearing glasses compared to not wearing glasses? Have you wore them enough to have received several nice complements on how nice you look wearing glasses yet? From what I was able to make out from your doctor I think he wants you to wear your glasses all the time. Am I right?

What I noticed so far is that, itâs a bit hazy, maybe because of the lens or maybe my eyes are still adjusting. Sometimes, I get uncomfortable thatâs why I take it off.. Haha.. I received compliments tho that I look nice with my eyeglasses haha.
@@DaySeeAndJude By putting your glasses on as soon as you get up makes it easier for your eyes to adjust to the prescription of your glasses because your eyes are always the freshest first thing in the morning. Sadly your timing for starting to wear glasses wasn't the best because of the pandemic and were all now wearing masks all day long. I think that haze you're seeing is being caused by your mask. When you breathe the air from your mouth goes mostly upward and since the bottom area of your glasses sit over the top of your mask the air goes up under your glasses and results in a slight haze. They do make several products that greatly reduces that haze or "fogging" of your lenses. You might want to ask your friend or the doctor about that. Other wise all you can do is to try to make your mask as air tight as possible across the top of the mask so air can't go under it. Also when someone starts wearing glasses for the first time they usually find themselves cleaning the glasses quite often and that's because their eyes aren't used to having lenses in front of their eyes so they always seem to feel like their glasses need cleaning even if they don't. Again the more you wear your glasses and get used to wearing you won't be cleaning them nearly as often and you won't notice the slight "haze" or "fog" that you're noticing now. I'm not at all surprised that you have been getting complements on your glasses and how nice you look wearing glasses now. I'm sure you're going to continue getting complements from people. Watching your video it was easy to see how attractive you are and then seeing you wearing glasses just seemed to enhance your looks even more. When the doctor or the optician was fitting your glasses on you did he or she say if you should wear glasses all the time or what and when you should wear them? As an optician I can tell you that if you enjoy your eyesight more wearing glasses than you do without them, then you should probably wear them all the time. If you're wondering wearing glasses all the time won't in anyway do any harm to your eyes. So it is much better for you to wear them rather than not wear them. Without them on you're going to be straining your eyes anytime you're looking ta something just a few away from you. Unlike most opticians in my country ...They let me choose whatever shape of frames that i like without giving me Recommendations ....and when i realized the frame was not fit my face shape.... they just replied " it was your decision to choose it , Sorry Goods Sold are not Returnable ."
