I own both of these mice. I prefer the viper v2 much more. I noticed for my specific gaming style (a palm grip for movement then a claw hybrid when aiming) the superlights higher profile would hit my palm while adjusting for recoil and wouldn’t feel right. Also the oem gliders on the Superlight are rly shitty, and feels scratchy. The vipers oem gliders come out the box very smooth and feels better for precision. My only downside is with razers software but you can set up profiles and delete synapse if you don’t want to deal with the issues the mouse has built in memory.

You had any issues with Battery life with the Viper V2 Pro, I just had to RMA mine after using it for like 10 months or so. The battery drains in like 2 days of usage which wasn't the case before. But the Viper V2 Pro is far better simply because it can go up to 8000hz polling rate for anyone looking for that insane smoothness and response.

WoW, such a game changer for me over 1/2k. I am basically winning every duel, which was faaaaaaaar from the norm with the gxp. The way these sensors actually work, you're NOT going to feel that high polling rate. The chips have a power saving function that has variable refresh. If you want to actually test these high polling rates, you have to max out the DPI, and set your OS pointer speed to the lowest value to make normal usage viable. Otherwise you will simply never reach those polling rates. When you are actually getting those polling speeds, combined with a low latency high refresh display, you will absolutely feel it, I promise. Even on the desktop, your pointer looks completely different at each stage of polling rate. For practical usage, it can be rough for some games that have less precise ingame sensitivity tools. I have to set it to the minimum and lower DPI for casual games. Thankfully other games like CS let me have a lot of zeros in my sensitivity.
    Cm/360°: 41.56 | In/360°: 16.36

kinda strange he definitely recommends the GPX2 using price factor as ultimate reason (not a big difference: no it's not because if you want hyperpolling with the razer - more than 1khz - you'll have to buy separately a dongle that at the time I'm writing poles 8khz - and makes a difference on mouse quality use, it stresses the cpu if its old but it's way better for screens with refresh rate of 240Hz and more than just FHD, like 2k, 4k; so with the dongle you'll pay the same on both mice - he really shows how he does not know most mice with 4khz polling rate, lamzu, ninjustu, and all others - but for now of what I got G-wolves that come with the 4khz on the box, but they're pretty expensive too and have worst specs than the Razer's Focus PRO 30k or the Logitech's Hero 2). He does not give a damn about specs where the razer is far superior less the battery life (mainly 4kzh and 8khz) and 2k less DPI than the Logitech, like IPS 750 max speed against 500 on the GPX, 70 G acceleration against 40/50 G of the GPX, and all this together in a good PC will make a considerable difference. I would agree if he said the shape gives me a better grip and subject is over, but he completely disregards the hardware (Logitech software is better? really? why? Forgot to tell?) superiority in the majority of cases of razer PRO mice. Taking in account he does not even know you have to buy a dongle to get 4khz (now up to 8khz) instead of the capped 1kzh sums all about his review. Both great mice, I have both in my large collection of mice - still think the Thorn and Maya are also at the same tier, but regarding tech logitech is still behind even with it's hero 2 sensor. If you want more rubberized textures you can also buy the GPX 2 imperial red or the DAV3PRO Faker Edition (the Maya is also excellent). Very poor review for two mice that would deserve much better than just all the info I added. Cheers

Did you buy another mouse? I have the same feeling, I hate the sound, but the Viper ones seems to be as loudy as the superlight

@@user-rv7ee6xg4h I don't think the Viper is as loud, I had a DeathAdder V3 Pro which has the same switches and it was acceptable in terms of volume but the shape didn't work for me, so now I'm waiting for the Viper V3 Pro to come out

SHAPE IS KING 👑 .. ask any MLG Pro. Most people who are accurate are palm grippers, the top aiming mouse was the GPX. Yeah, the smaller Razer is a deal breaker because it doesn't fit my normal size hands as well as a GPX Superlight. There isn't a damn bit of difference between 1K to 4K polling your non-1kHz monitors.
Regarding Razer's software, please explain why Razer requires about 600MB download to adjust my DPI and pulling rate. I'm all ears!

.. BTW I own every Razer mouse they offer. They're all sitting there collecting dust.

higher polling rates = less latency. Check other tests and you will see ther is difference.

@@ciupakabra2428 .. Let me add this, if you have an older CPU 3 or 4 years old or less powerful CPU, really high polling rates of your mouse (any peripherals) may actually interfere with your CPU and cause stuttering.
