    if i self host odoo on my own servers, and open odoo in my webbrowser on the private LAN network of my shop, would the local IP of the epson printer work? Or should the Odoo instance/server also be in the same local network? Another option for me would maybe be a Tailscale or Wireguard network. So the printer would be visible for my Odoo instance, even though it is not in the same local network.

    What version Odoo is this video based on? I don't have Direct Devices. Instead I see ePos Printer. When I check the box it requests the printer's IP address. However I'm using a USB cable to connect as it wasn't working via ethernet. Is it possible to connect to Odoo via USB?

      Nope. I gave up on Odoo long ago. I quickly learned that it’s not for the non technical users.
