  • After describing what happened each day of creation, the Genesis narrative zooms in on the first man, Adam, and recounts the creation of and his marriage to the first woman, Eve. In this sermon from Genesis 2:4-25, Pastor Mark preaches on how God created us to live physically and spiritually, to work and worship, for a relationship with Him and others, and for marriage and family.

What if you didn't raise your older children in the church but instead in a very dysfunctional way BUT now I've found God and am raising my younger two better. Idk how to say it I guess. How do I parent the older two that are living the way I used to? 😢

Why start at Genesis chapter 2 though? Man is created in chapter 1. But I know why: because Adam and Eve are presented in Chapter 2. But if you read the bible as it is written, sentence by sentence. It clearly says God created man in his own image...He even rested before getting to chapter 2. Here's what I think happened: God created mankind. But they were all clowns, they were getting deceived left and right by the devil. God had a plan, but he didn't want to use any of those folks. So in chapter 2, God created Adam, and separated him from the rest of the folks. He breathed in him, the Holy Spirit was living inside of him. He Adam's lineage was the one God chose to bring forth Jesus. And in the flood, everyone was wiped out except for Adam's lineage. We don't need science, because it has been proven that scientist make stuff up as they go along. There is no daughters sleeping with fathers to populate the earth, and no brothers and sisters getting it on..that's not even consistent with the bible. After the flood, Noah had sons who had wives that were not kin to them. They populated the earth.

No, Adam and Eve were NOT the first two created. If you read the bible in it's original Hebrew you will notice that "races" were created in Genesis 1 before the fall of Satan. Also in Genesis 1 a form of white man was created but he was not given the breath of God. In Genesis 2 you will see that another type of white man was created, Adam. This one received the breath of God and they are the children of God the TRUE Hebrews and the line from which Christ came. Luke 3:38. When you see the word generations in the bible it means races. Modern science actually says that whites and blacks have NO common ancestry so his information is outdated. Pre-Adamites can be saved as Christ died for all. But the chosen Hebrews were Hebrews and NOT Jews. Jews are Edom/Esau Revelations 2:9 and Revelations 3:9. He is an excellent minister. But lacking in his understanding of Hebrew. It happens.

@@richardhartley7266 No. only white people are related to Adam and Eve. Read it in Hebrew. The races or generations were made in Genesis 1. Adam was made in Genesis 2. You have been lied too by religion.

    Simple answer: no
There was no real first human. Hominidae arose from several lines and intermingled as well as evolved into modern humans. We are even now evolving as a look at body size over the last few milenea will show.
All species are intermediary and we are no different. What humans may be in a few thousand years is an interesting question.
