"I'm officially old." Best line in the video. I teach high school, and I tell my students "the point of slang seems to be to use words that 'adults' won't understand...so why do you expect me to know what these words mean?"
The... the thing is, at 23 (and spending a *lot* of time on the internet), I think I'm actually still supposed to understand all of these. But I only knew about AF, on fleek, and... max. 2 others (and I learned the full meaning of "Netflix and chill" just ~3-4 days ago)
I'm just 1 year off the millenial train. "Get swole" sounds like "get wrecked (rekt)" "Lit" is was used near 2010 or 2012 so it's still used in in TV and by CZcamsrs. On fleek. WTH. I've never heard of this one. I hate seeing the word BAE. Just please I hope this word leaves our vocab. Just say a hot person or your significant other. "AF" is not an acronym for Abercrombie and Fitch. It's the F word. That test was hard AF. Younger millenial outdated terns: Da bomb. It was replaced by lit with younger millenials. Awesome. Every generation uses thus term, dude. Old fart. No longer used by younger millenials. To younger millenials, I'm an old fart. Jack in the Crack -- Jack in The Box. AAA Against All Authority. F the system. This has a sociological context. I'm not going into detail. Here is the true test of the generations, how do you say MILK. I say melk.
