Started playing without aim assist 1-1 1/2 months ago cuz i got bored of apex and i see where mnk players are coming from. Its rewarding putting in effort and seeing the results of that effort.
tbh I’ve been playing some MNK recently and it’s actually not that hard to get good aim, the hardest part about MNK for me was getting used to having my binds be farther apart and learning new movement techniques, although I have played some MNK on other games so that might be why aim wasn’t the hardest part about learning how to play on MNK

This happened to me a couple weeks ago. im also an advocate of practicing with no aim assist in all comp games you can. i hopped off and forgot to turn it back on. when i hopped on i didnt know it was off and it wasnt that bad. i just felt like my aim was a little "off" in some situations but got 2 dubs out of 5 games. its not that bad until you are right up close. also i realized after 5 games and turned it back on lmao

wish my arm could have a 0 second delay of tracking someone when they strafe the other direction. oh right thats what aim assist does on a roller, the only reason its op because there is no delay for the aa going left to right

You bring up good points, about how controller is harder than m@k.... my only criticism is that for the AVERAGE player, who can't tap strafe, superglide or do any other advanced movement techniques, aim assist is way too strong, the ONLYA counter really is to get out of range of the assist and try to fight that way

I prefer apex without AA on roller, I’ve played a bunch of the old halos without AA and I got so used to it I didn’t like it slowing my sim down so I turned it off and I prefer it bc it’s more smooth imo ❤
If you mastered aim without aim assist please please please try aim assist, you will be an absolute killing machine because people who know how to aim without aim assist are deadly with aim assist on

Does it make a difference in dmg or anything else when using light or heavy ammo in the CAR? I usually only pick up heavy ammo, unless I'm also using another gun that uses light ammo.

car is better with heavy ammo because of the heavy ammo perk that will slow players by 40 percent for a tenth of a second

What people dont realize, strafing left and right on a controller is hard to track for pc players, because we are only use to foward backward left and right.
I play on console but I frequently stack w my pc friends n I will say that it’s a completely different game on pc. I actually enjoy it more on pc bc it feels like the higher skill players on console are all bots with cronus’ meanwhile on pc you get people that are actually more accurately placed because u need to be better to rank up
"shoulder, arm, wrist, and finger 'assist." Just more points of failure. It can be pretty difficult to play well when any one of those is injured or sore. And if I'm having an off day or just not in it there is nothing there to pickup the slack.

The only point you’re making is that controller players don’t need aim assist…so why should they have it?
I'm so sick of it. There are clear perks to controller and mnk. Mnk has a higher skill ceiling, and all your inputs are your own. Controller doesn't get to have such freedom, therefore aim assist.
You get into a close quarters smg fight? Controller wins, 9/10 times. In other settings, it will be different. Just play the game. Only grievance i have is that 90% of console players i see in my lobby (not controller players, but console) are actual bots. Guys are terrible.

For me mnk is way more fun and rewarding. Despite controller being clearly stronger
because controller is slow and boring and there is no skill involved with aa up close. you only have to figure out how to aim with ur thumb whereas we have to coordinate our arm and wrist. aa is only so incredibly broken because it will automatically switch direction instantly when someone strafes the other direction

The aim assist argument is so silly console players play at a 60fps cap while most pc players are playing a 120+ the movement perks you get from mnk crazy and because of stuff like jitter aiming fighting mnk from range on controller is annoying so yea people just be finding reasons to complain even though they got more win conditions
Just remove Aim assist or make input based lobby’s.

And the main reasons why people complain about controller is because not only can you have movement like strafing. You also get 60% compensation. I play on console bro and agree with ppl bitching about controller. It is busted. It is what it is. Lmfaoo now controller players have the best of both worlds. Tap strafing an aim 😂

There is a massive skill gap between console and pc. Your lobbies are not that hard, people are just running out in the open, missing shots, etc. You are a good player, but there are very little good players on console, putting you in lower level lobbies.
