Nairobi City Marathon 2023 | Running a Marathon for the first time

We did the 6km fun run marathon which is favourable for beginners, families and kids. It was a nice way to see what our bodies could do. Please note that we didn’t prep in any way for this marathon. We struggled through the race, our bodies almost gave up but… the more we were at it the better we felt and the pain disappeared ☺️ don’t be fooled though, it first got worse before it got better 🤗
Oh and it took place on the one and only Nairobi expressway for the first time 🫣
