I had a Norton Dominator 88, 500cc in the 60s. It had been raced in the Isle of Man TT. What a bike, so stable on the road and it went like a bat out of hell. Great days.

Beautiful Dominator. The 88 Motor is considered a Gem of an engine isn't it? Superb video. 👌

What a beauty! Crazy that it somehow sounds mellow like my ‘62 R69S even though they’re completely different of course. Maybe the stock exhausts ha.

Hi my dad as a 650 twin cylinder dominator when started only the left exhaust gets hot but when you disconnect the left plug lead it then runs on the right cylinder and the right exhaust gets hot any ideas anyone

You should check ignition n cable, it should be one weak material or just loose grounding spull

Beautiful bike to look at but seriously the 500 wouldn't pull the skin of a custard tart, now the 650 ss and the 750 atlas❤️❤️❤️❤️

Dominator 500cc was the first twin cylinder pushrod engine to lap the Isle of Man at over 100mph. I believe in 1958.

Underpowered by modern standards but smooth as silk. Personally, it is the Triumph for me although I rarely get off my Commando.
