Young Blackfullas learning sewing and costume making - Kimberwalli

Wiradjuri and Gumbaynggirr Costume Maker Emily Pires has worked on film and theatre productions such as Marvel’s Thor: Love & Thunder, Wakefield and Bangarra.
But it’s her work with local community centre, Kimberwalli, that has allowed Emily to pass on her knowledge and passion of sewing and costume making to young Blackfullas based in Western Sydney.
