@@AtharAndra2406 no it just went in the Red line the rev limiter is somewhere in the red line and it didnt hit it you can only really damage the engine if you shift down to early and force the rpm to go past the rev limiter

@@ag6371 Yeah. C3 ran from 68 to 82, not 80 to 83 😂. There wasn't a Vette made in 83. They also used a C6 picture for the C5

I drove a 1977 C3 Corvette once, 180 horsepower I think it was, 3 speed automatic, and that thing was properly, painfully slow.
