I couldn't watch Nightbirde's audition for ages after I learned what happened but then of course, I realised I was dismissing her whole legacy and me not watching because it's "too sad" was exactly what she wouldn't have wanted so I finally watched it. I can't believe how strong she was and that is the most powerful statement I have ever seen

Terry letting the flood gates open for the choir is still one my fav moments. Its literally just uplifting to seeing young ones that come from the same background, area, all that extra stuff as you doing good and better

Every time I see Nightbird's performance I get choked up. It's also terrifying because she was absolutely glowing, you would never know she was going to die like that by looking at her.

This is the first time I've seen her audition and I'm a mess, to see her for the first time, so beautiful and so talented and to know she's no longer with us, really got to me.

Absolutely! The change in him was like a curtain being opened. I adore Leon Russell's songwriting and music skills, so this was a double whammy for me. He's brilliant. And so is his Mum
The Golden buzzer on
AGT for her song “It’s OK”was so well deserved by beautiful singer and songwriter Nightbirdie. Unfortunately, just after the audition her health take a turn to the worse and she resigned herself from the competition. She died from cancer on February, 2022. She was only 32 year old. Her talent, her strength, her beauty, her words…, her everything is such an inspiration for all of us. Such a sad story…

You can not have many singers they bring so much joy to the world and it does not have to be in English all languages work their magic and make us smile
If I could have one gift in life it would be to have a great singing voice. Not for the possible earning potential, but just for the experience and joy that it brings into this world.

These absolutely are the best of the best. It must have been extremely difficult to identify these performers, but you were spot-on with your choices. When Terry greeted Nightbirde off-stage after her performance he said "YOU are the voice we all needed to hear this year" and I'll never forget that. After three years of isolation, quarantines, masks, laws, mandates.....................Nightbirde stepped onto the stage and released every one of us from the isolation, hopelessness and boredom that we thought would never return to normal That young lady is WISE way beyond her years. Her outlook on life put me to shame - "You can't wait until life isn't hard any more before you decide to be happy". AND "I have a 2% chance of living. But 2% isn’t 0% and I just wish everyone knew how amazing that is.” How does someone find HOPE in a 2% chance of living? And Kodie is just as amazing. I don't know what I was expecting from him while he got himself ready, but whatever it was, it was miles short of what Kodie actually delivered.
I'll never forget the courage Nightbirde showed everyone of us. She's an Angel from above. Thank u God for Nightbirde. I'll miss her.

Jane's is definitely the most heartbreaking one of all. I think we all feel robbed that we did not get to see much more of her in the years to come but knowing that she is finally at peace in Heaven where there is no more pain nor sorrow or suffering gives me great solace.

Night birde wasn't here for very long , but she was here long enough to give people a way to come out of a lock down and people who have lost loved ones and masks. Almost 700 thousand views and only 10 thousand likes??? Everyone who didn't clicked "like" should be ashamed of themselves. I don't know you Jane (Nightbird) you will have (at least) 10001 that will not forget your performance on AGT.
That last choir was so beautiful. It made me tear up seeing how happy they were. If anyone deserved that million dollars, it was them.

Nightbirde's quote: you can't wait until life isn't hard anymore before you decide to be happy, continues to inspire others all over the world. I am happy to know Nightbirde got recognition for her talent as a gifted songwriter and singer with a beautiful voice and incredible personality. Terry seems to be a genuinely good man with a heart of gold, especially for people facing adversity with strength and optimism. Perhaps now that Simon is a father, he reacts with empathy and emotion after special auditions. His experience and gift for recognizing great talent changed the ordinary lives of unknown people into stars known all over the world. It must be rewarding for Simon and Terry to know they are instrumental roles in this area. I think this is an interesting and insightful video well done and worth watching. So when I saw this and she finished. The audience was quite for a moment and she looked around like, oh no, they didn't like it. But....... so untrue we were just, what I call stuck in amazement. And the you could she the relief on her face when the crowd erupted in roaring approval. I loved her positive way of looking at things. She will be missed. Oh by the way I never met her in person.
