Hamas chose not to. And they still could've and can, but won't. Israel has agreed to two ceasefires and upheld their end, Hamas broke both by ending the lives of civilians. 70% of Palestinians said they still want Hamas leadership even after the atrocities committed against women. And the world and the UN are rewarding them. But this has nothing to do with a very courageous girl standing MASKLESS before the world and singing her heart out. I think Israel absolutely deserves to be there as other countries have also competed despite the political conflicts with neighbouring countries. It’s frustrating that so many people are picking and choosing when politics matter and when they don’t. This has been ongoing conflict since the 1940’s. Russia and Ukraines war started back in 2014 and Russia was banned in 2022 Armenia and Azerbaijan have been going at it for years, the Balkan countries to this day still have differing opinions of neighboring countries. The entire purpose of this contest is to unite together through music. It’s been a part of their statement since the beginning. If it were to be made political every time something happened there’d be no contest.

one of my compatriots was going on a sanitary mission together with several other paramedics to help Palestine, the Israeli troops were informed about the convoy's passage and it was approved by them, unfortunately Israel bombed the entire convoy and as far as I know, no one survived, and the representative of Israel in my country he said that such cases happen and that he would not apologize, what's more, when asked what good things he could say about my country he said that part of the nation is Jewish
