Good choice of arsenal for shallow water. I envy you being able to flyfish a heavy flyrod without your arm falling off. My arm gets sore from a regular flyrod. My hat and hair off for you. Youre the maaan!

@LawsonLindseyFishing do yourself a favor and DO NOT fall into the trap of paying a cable network to air your content. Been there, done that and I can tell you from experience it's a horrible business model. If they want to pay you, that's a different story, but those deals are few and far between and come with a long list of production requirements you may not want to deal with. Sponsors are paying for eyeballs, and some of your vids have hundreds of thousands of views which proves that you have the ability to deliver just as many, if not more viewers on CZcams, Instagram and TikTok than you will on The Sportsmans Channel or Destination America. Keep up the great work, and keep keeping it real.

Dude, so good. I got hooked on this channel watching this dude finesse monster snook etc, and jumping into the water to go thru pilings and such, and learned a lot from watching over the years. Now I love the way the videos make me feel when I watch them. Huge inspiration to me to get out there and try to capture the sport I love, and tell the story, and appreciate nature in the process. Thanks for doing what you do brother 🤘

I love watching longer movie style fishing films that CZcamsrs have been making lately, but you're one of the special ones that knows how to make it not only entertaining, but greatly cinematic, all while respecting the fish and knowing what you're talking about. I bet your not only someone chill to be around be especially great to be around while fishing, because not everyone can handle doing such long runs, or fishing with others happily. This was incredible, the commentary and the footage. Like you said, this just means you have a Keys revenge tour coming up for that Permit!! Again just insane video quality. Those showing the channels splicing up the flats were sick.
Was rooting for you with the permit. Permit like hard coral rock bottoms. That was probably going to be the fish you could actually get out of the boat for. 😆I've seen more in 10ft of water than I have in 2-3 as well. They seem to hang around those black sponges with the circle in the middle of them. Those sponges hold juvenile lobsters which they love to eat so an area with hard bottom and sponges is a good place to look for them. Often times they are in way deeper water than you would think. But they cruise high.
