Congratulations - I've commented on this channel once before but I had really only listened to one or two videos at the time and was quite ignorant to you and what you do. (not that I'm not ignorant now, but I have grown at least a bit) I clicked on your videos for the first time because of the thumbnails, but I took no effort to actually comprehend what you had to say; I just understood that you were some sort of historical intellectual and clicked subscribe. Since then I have listened to many of your videos, and have been amazed by what you are doing. I also started watching your series on Vom Kriege; very good stuff. Though it has been tough to study and actively take from your content what you are saying, you have seriously opened my eyes to medieval history, Christian history, military history, and more, as well as their importance to society. I'm not going to pretend I understand your channel or the depth of the message you are telling in the slightest, I'm poorly educated, I came here for my pride in knowledge to be reinforced only to be shut down, but I think this is a good thing for me and for others watching who came here the same way. I still want to thank you for introducing me to this thing that I never really knew existed. You deserve all 20,000 of these subscriptions. Thank you

I've always admired your views and the historical content works perfectly along with them. People don't understand the difference between political and politicized. That's why you can afford to talk about history and others feeling jealous about your knowledge: it's not politicized at all but it's hitting the right political nails and mostly they can't accept it.

I got through the whole thing. I have little to say, as you say no matter how much I've watched I barely know you so I can't address you in a meaningful way, but your content has fundamentally... restructured the way I see the world, the way I see history, it got me to take history seriously in the first place and to stop priding myself on it for the sake of it, it has been a turning point in my formation that I know will greatly influence me in the future, when the knowledge, especially the broad knowledge the broad theme of this channel and these videos, sinks in. So... thank you. It has changed the way I see my place in history, and convince me further of the possibility of my agency in it, like... it has fundamentally expanded my horizons and got me in touch with the past in a one of a kind way, that's what I will remember you for. It has cleared any shadow of a doubt in me of what needs to be done.

I`m thankful that I found your videos about two years ago. You talk to your audience like they are adults, that is rare these days and the only one I've come across that actually covers the Imperial/Catholic tradition. Though I fear that I might be one of vast fourth estate. I`m coming up on my 30s and I don`t have many applicable skills outside of my historical interests. Many people have told me that I should become a history teacher. The problem is that the state of historical education in my country is horrific. The curriculum is designed mainly to split students along the most superficial and arbitrary lines and turn them into the most violent and illiterate activists. Do you have any suggestions for what I should do?

I like how this channel doesn't just explain what happened but the mentality of people in the past and the politics. it was quite different before the 18th century and most people have more of a cartoonish view of early history. like the movie 300 or brave heart. you are a true old school youtuber that doesn't care about popularity or money. it's rare these days it seemed more common 15 years ago. I sometimes make joke comments I hope you accept them.
I’m a mentally ill historical fencer but your knowledge of military history and the art of war is immeasurably valuable for those who want a real education. After thinking about it your criticisms of physically unimpressive hema nerds’ vague and unhistorical attempts at recreating historical battlefield combat is spot on unfortunately
I like your point that who is superior should fear no one. Conspiracy theorists are straightly admitting that they are inferior to someone: Tradition 1.0.0. You're right: we should have less faith in generic people and just concentrate on the better ones to mold the others accordingly.
