      I was literaly in comments for an explination.
      I've seen the picture before, and thought it was so cool that they had a DND set up with a screen for the map, and a switch to turn it on for more epic roll for initive moments, so it being a hotelroom was very confusing.
      I am now dissapointed that it's not an interactive map

    When my family and I moved from Florida to Idaho, we stayed in hotels a lot to rest bc we were traveling by car. One thing we noticed in northern La Quinta hotels is the fact that they tend to have both pools and hot tubs. And to protect you from the snow, they built these indoors. Most northern hotels just don't care if you freeze your ass off going for a swim, so thank you for not being cheap La Quinta!

      Not really, a lot of people get cats to kill mice and call them mousekeeping cats, a lot of these cats are not giving food so that they are more likely to eat mice, so quite a few of these cats die of starvation. That cat is most likely taken good care of though.

    • @nightingalecat

      Even cats that like mousing can get tired of it. Our best hunter gave up when rats started showing up because they were too big for her to finish and she didn't like the taste.
      Another downside is that they can also attack other wildlife or pets. We stopped keeping a bird feeder on the porch for that reason.
      I do agree that making a mouser rely entirely on hunting is not the most humane practice. Even a barn cat should have access to kibble and water.

They had little chocolate candies on the check-in desk with a sign that said "eat me", and were handing out bottles of water to those waiting in line that said "drink me" on them.

And who knows if you even saved in the right save spot.

      @@leblancmarcel Trusting a total stranger to sanitize the hole everyone who has used that room before you voided their waste into - enough that you willingly rub a towel placed on the toilet seat all over your face and body - makes you the idiot. Personally, I have far too much experience with the laziness of the average human being to be that trusting. I also have too much knowledge of how difficult it is to truly sanitize any bathroom - let alone a hotel bathroom - to be that naive. But, good luck with that.

    When my family stayed in Vegas, I brought one of my teddy bears with me (side sleeping with a wide ribcage means I need to hold something), and the hotel staff would set him up with a new towel friend each day. It was really cute. But at the time, I was too sick to appreciate it properly. The bird was the best one, I think

    What is the difference between a hostel and a hotel?

    • @kellygervais3440
      @kellygervais3440 Před 3 lety +4

      I've never been to one but I think it would be more like an inn, lots of single travelers and cheaper food and I have heard that there are some in Europe and Japan where you are stacked like sardines. I would imagine some are scary to stay at, probably not a lot of privacy and could be very dangerous, i'm just going off of stories..

    • @kaberlini
      @kaberlini Před 3 lety +6

      A hostel is usually cheaper and most rooms are e.g. 4 - 6 bed rooms and have bunk beds in them for single travellers on a budget

    • @Kayenne54
      @Kayenne54 Před 3 lety +4

      In Australia, a hostel is similar in layout to a hotel; except there are common rooms like a kitchen, where people can make their own basic meals (microwave, hot water for coffee/tea and fridges; also vending machines) - no meals are served in the ones I've stayed at, you have to organize your own food; best to bring your own pillow too lol. A communal dining and lounge room with shared facilities like TV etc. Rooms are usually minimum of two to a room, which you could end up sharing with a total stranger (usually backpackers). Other bedrooms have several bunk beds, also shared with total strangers. It's a budget alternative usually frequented by young folk backpacking through a country. As a mature person, I've utilized them a few times because budget restrictions, but the hostel managers were kind enough to allow me my own tiny room so I wasn't sharing with someone who wanted to party all night. Bathroom facilities and washing machines etc. are also shared. P.S. there is no room service.

Being from the US, East is simple at home but how do you know when you are in the east? Thank you! I was way too embarrassed to ask anyone.
