    Nice video! What steering damper is this? I use the same 2nd gear clutch up. It takes a big hike and tug to get it up in 3rd. Great skills 👌🏼

      I appreciate that! It’s Toby brand. Hadn’t ever heard of them until I started looking back there weren’t too many options and it does a great job

    I rekon before even trying this a steering damper is definitely a good move :) Just saying. As you can see he is also rockin one :)

    Dope video! I love clutching 3rd I tend to power first and shift threw 2nd and 3rd and hardly clutch 2nd for me I feel like it comes up super quick

      I appreciate that and had checked out some of yours too! Clutching third is probably my favorite way to go because it’s so smooth and so versatile. If I clutch second it’s basically just like tapping it to shift because she comes up scary fast 😂

    Love to see some more vids...sub'd by the way.I have a 2016 with -1 +2 with a ECU flash and it cleaned up the throttle so much. I love this bike and I'm trying to get over the fear of her lifting as soon as she starts lifting I roll off. What sprockets are you running? When she gets up near balance point are you catching it with the rear brake or doing a slight roll off?

    • @likablelifestyleentertainm8768
      @likablelifestyleentertainm8768  Před 2 lety

      Anything in particular you’re wanting to see? Waiting for the wind to calm down some and I’ll be getting some more content. I’m running a 17 front sprocket and a 45 rear. Just takes seat time and pulling it up over and over and you’ll get more comfortable with that feeling and if you’re saying you went down one in the front and up two in the back I can imagine that would be a handful. Could try pulling it up in third and playing with that and see if it’ll come up a bit slower for you. Depends on what kind of wheelie I’m riding. When I’m by myself I mostly ride stand up wheelies so I can’t cover the rear brake but when I ride sit downs I’ll barely apply pressure when it’s back there and try to use the throttle to keep the bike balancing where I want and the constant light pressure to keep from looping.

      @@likablelifestyleentertainm8768 Nothing particularly just tips and advise mainly because we have the exact same bike....oh yeah she pulls hard down low with my set up. I have went to the 3rd gear sliping the clutch and it is....how would you say it, a little slower coming up than in 2nd, so it does fell more manageable. Like you said I need seat time....can't find a good spot to practice either.....the law in my county is crazy with sheriffs so I have to be careful....I've heard a wheelie ticket is reckless driving and that's pretty stout....don't want one of those. I do have a 2001 ZX6R but I don't ride it anymore because the 1000 is so much more fun and powerful. Maybe I should go back to it for some practice. Looking forward to more vids. Thanks for the reply brother...God speed!!!

      @@razorbak6783 I’ll have some more coming soon! I would definitely start out by pulling it up in third and getting comfortable with the balance. Wouldn’t be a bad idea to ride the sixxer to get more comfortable with wheelies in general but they are definitely going to pull up and balance differently. Oh absolutely man gotta make sure to practice in safe secluded areas!

      I don’t remember the exact model but I believe the brand is fenrir. I’m not the most gentle on the bike and had issues snapping other brands and couldn’t keep them in place but I’ve been impressed with these

    some times mine will clutch up sometimes it wont. it'll just luggg. it'll just fall on its face. So it looks like I need to be giving it gas before i do anything. Like thats the missed step? then clutch then more gas and let out the clutch.

    • @likablelifestyleentertainm8768
      @likablelifestyleentertainm8768  Před 2 lety +2

      There’s a bit of timing to it but you’ll be cruising like you normally would find one of those sweet spots that you’re comfortable with then pull in your clutch and build up the rpm’s and dump the clutch to get that nice pop. Just play around with how much you build them and what kind of speeds to see what you’re best at and most comfortable with. It sounds like to me your maybe not getting them high enough if it lugs on you when you dump the clutch.

    What’s the best way to wheelie at around 30~40mph? On the video, it looked like you were going 40~50mph when you popped up and ended at about 70~80mph. I’m trying to learn how to wheelie at a lower speed 😅

      It’s all about preference but for me I’d go third gear clutch up and get it back far and feather the rear brake to keep it nice and slow

    …and what about “Power Wheelies” No Clutching just a about a 40~50mph roll then..4~5k Throttle Close, Twist up! 🤨Can the GSXS-1000 handle that safely!?? 🤔

    • @likablelifestyleentertainm8768
      @likablelifestyleentertainm8768  Před 2 lety

      I wouldn’t imagine it having any issue because drag racing and launching really hard you have to throttle control pretty good to keep from spinning and wheeling at the same time. I just don’t mess with them intentionally

      @@likablelifestyleentertainm8768 Hey Thanks for the reply!..very Cool of you!👍🏾😎I’m a Drag Racer so I get where you’re comin’ from…tried to tame my Torque Monster ‘98 Suzuki TL1000R and “Jedi Master” it’s wheelies to no avail!!😒Bastard wouldn’t be tamed!! ☹️It’s my Full Race Bike now,..’cause it digs Drag Racing so much!🤪🤣🤘🏾So that’s why I’m getting the GSX-1000S now for a daily rider. I prefer Power Wheelies over Clutch ones due to I’d rather not wear out the plates too early and to me “Power” to do wheelies demonstrates the ability & performance of the bike more true IMO..So,..I’m looking forward to customizing & riding mine when I get it next year!
