Chris Jones seems like such a nice, respectful and thoughtful gentlemen. I have liked his bob hairstyles for a while and have saved many on Pinterest to take to my salon. You can never go wrong with a bob. It would be worth the 45 minute drive just to have someone so talented and down to earth do your hair. I can't wait to see the end result once your layers in the back grow out. I love the color and that shade of blonde makes hazel eyes pop!

Clearly very talented as well, your hair turned out very nice! It's so nice, when a stylist can give you exactly, what you want. Still looking for that perfect match myself...I'm growing my hair put into a bob as well, so I try to be patient and not go for a cut too often.

Thank you. I'm luckily fairly happy with my hair now. First time in a long time. Hated my long hair for various reasons...hated my short hair for completely different reasons...now I finally consistently like what I see, when I look into the mirror 👏👏👏
It would be great if we all had this type of stylist/colorist available to us.
Chris is my favorite of all your stylists you have featured. His take on hair is a fresh perspective backed with thoughtful knowledge. I hope you keep going to him so he can see you through the growing out phase, making it as intentional as can be along the way. ❤ He is so humble, many stylists have such an air of arrogance.

This stylist is really an artist. Wow, your hair looks so chic, elegant, and flowy--not chunky and mushroomy. I have walked out of so many salons disappointed. Wish we had one of him here in Florida.

@@dominiquesachsetv If you ever have a baby you should name your baby and give it a long name (8+ letters) because there is a CZcams video that says that you should name your baby a long name if your last name is long or short. If you can't decide these are the names that you could name your baby if it is a boy:
Jonathan, Sebastian, Christian, Nicholaus or Alexander.
Or a girl:
Genevieve, Everleigh, Charlotte, Bella-Rose or Christabella.

I have been following him for last couple years, one day I will pay the 250.00 for his hair styling service, unless my hubby get me a gift certificate(hint hint) Chris is a genius, a master, literally he has the midas touch...he touches your hair and you just become Cinderella. Been following for Dominique for about 5 yrs SO happy she showcased him . just beautiful:)

This guy rocks!! Loved how he explained everything...he is spot on with his description of depth but still adding highlights for interest. I constantly remind my hairdresser that I love seeing depth! I absolutely love your hair with the lighter highlights while maintaining your darker color. You look amazing!

Chris is the exception. He has a talent and skill to get colour and cut right!! Not many can do this. It’s normally a conveyor belt of everyday colour and cut, with no real insight into individual styles? It’s hugely important to distinguish between cool and warm tones. This is where the skill comes in. Well done Chris x

Right after he was done it was parted on the viewer’s right/Dominique’s left and then at the very end of the video when they were both standing up her hair was parted on her right/the viewer’s left. It does look longer after he finished than before.

I just absolutely loved what he said about having a hairstyle so that when you look at a photo of yourself in 15 or 20 years time you still loved your hair then - you will feel happy with how you look. Classic shapes of hairdressing with a modern twist. I like how he is not over the top. Very sweet and humble about his craft and skill. When a woman goes to a hairdresser she wants to leave feeling good about herself and puts her hands in the skill of the stylist - it really is a work of art and a very transformative process. I get so annoyed with older male hairdressers who dictate how a woman should wear her hair. Thanks for placing the tag lines at the bottom of the screen with suggestions on what to present to your hairdresser or even what to look out for in yourself. Love form sunny Sydney, Australia.

What a great stylist he is! The Bob is a favorite of mine. I noticed in the pictures of his work that the lines are so straight and blunt, exactly what I like. He does beautiful work! Can't wait see your hair length get to that Bob look Dominique!

I have the privilege of knowing 3 amazing stylists which I use. Each has their own unique way of cutting. Each has their own unique strength in style. Since I like to change things up I can always get a new slightly different look. I’m honest and always express how lucky I am to have 3 talented stylists when most people struggle to find one.

This just makes me want to cry. I can’t even watch this “ how to leave the salon with what you want”.
Yesterday makes the latest gut- punching trip to a salon,one of the best in my city. Brought photos clearly showing the inverted bob I’ve had for years to a veteran stylist. It’s not an avant-garde cut anymore!! What I left the salon with is nothing close, not even the length I specifically asked for, which was more than doable.
I am so sick of the dishonesty of stylists who, rather than say, I’m so sorry, that cut is not a strength of mine, they give you their poor approximation. $215 wasted except for the nice colour. I don’t know what more i can do.🤬

I know what you mean girl. The last time I went to a salon I came out with the hair cut of a man and I told her " please don't cut it really short, I don't want to look like a man" that's exactly what I got- a man's haircut 😞😖

I think we have all been there at least once
Do you have a friend or work colleague with a cool style you like, I always get stylist recommendations from people I have asked - “ who does you hair?” And it has pretty much always worked well for me. Also a lot of salons showcase their work on Instagram, maybe check what cuts or colours they showcase on there to help you decide if you like their style of cutting and colouring, maybe show them a pic of what they’ve done on another client of theirs and see if it might be suitable on your hair type? Good luck and hope you find a stylist who can put that spring in your step when you walk out of their salon.

As a stylist I would say that honesty is the best policy. People need change and we understand that. The hardest part of losing a client is that we often lose a friend. Keep the friendship even if you make a change, that way we all win :)
