    im finding a disadvantage to the dies that require a vice or press due to the access limitations (if your near the edge of the metal or always have a flat piece its no problem). the thru bolt punch and dimples units solve that issue.

    It is usually a good idea to lubricate your dies before pressing. I think it can help with the distortion plus it reduces wear on the dies.

      @@LucidAutowerks Yep. Most use WD40.

    Constant surface speed is good but spinning a 50kg bar at 6000 rpm isn't.
