The pilot is simply amazing. Not only flying, but herding the pigs for the best shot and not catching the blade or the helicopter itself on a tree. This job is CONSIDERABLY more dangerous than it looks. Kudos to the pilot and shooter.
I don't think that pilot is getting enough credit here. He is lining up the shots while keeping the helicopter flying butter smooth. He is also flying in between the trees at times and keeping the distance to the target as short as possible. I would say the piloting skills are more impressive. Anybody can sit in the back and shoot(be it well or terribly), but just about nobody can fly the helicopter in that situation.
I wonder if there might not be a pilot and the helicopter is flown by thought control of the shooter. In other words, the shooter thinks, "ok, get up ahead of this mob then keep at the same pace as the mob while providing a steady platform for me and try not to hit any trees" or the like. It might be a pilotless, mind reading drone helicopter.
@Nambawan123 that's too far fetched. Be it helicopter or drone, this big of a vehicle is expensive as hell and thought control tech right now is too experimental for this kind of usage.
This shooter is incredible, even the little ones, he gets every time. Moving targets, are always hard, but his shooting, is the best I've ever seen. probably 99% - absolutely stunning shooting, also the helicopter pilot - he deserves praise too. He does a great job avoiding trees and such. Maybe they can come to Texas - I didn't know aussie shooters were the best in the world!
Well, They aren't! And if they pull stupid crap like shooting a hog in a stock pond like this idiot did, we don't want them. That was incredibly moronic. Shooting moving targets is hard enough. Doing so from a moving platform like a helicopter is a very high level of skill. Not only is your platform moving in it's intended direction, but the camera's stability control hides the roughness & unexpected movements that happen during flight. Definitely some serious skills on the shooter's part. Military snipers go through difficult traing just to learn to shoot from helicopters.
I agree 100%. I used to shoot feral pigs from the back of a moving landcruiser and i know how hard it is to plug em with one clean shot. Team, I hope no one is confused as to what we are watching here. This is a stage from the as yet to be released Grand Theft Auto computer game, "Grand Theft Auto: Australian Edition." It must have leaked. Most of the game is set in Sydney. This is a side mission where you play either the pilot or the shooter. That it is a computer game is obvious because nobody shoots this accurately in real life. From a helicopter? At a moving target? Taking down the target with one shot almost every time? That can happen in Call of Duty, not in the real world. Also, look at the way the helicopter is being flown, about three feet off the ground. You don't do that in real life. Not even in rural Australia. It looks like a great game. The graphics are awesome, especially the wild pigs' movements. You have to look hard to see those pigs are digital.
