You guys are totally in the right for mentioning the bandaid scenario to the doctor, she probably should have been a little more apologetic and concerned about that practice, should have taken notes even and possibly make her staff aware of the bandaid issue with premies. Imagine the open wounds the bandaid created would have gotten infected and been an issue for Chloe’s little immune system. I would have been upset with the disregard of the bandaid situation, you handled that well.

About the Dr and Chloe gaining weight. There are some Drs that like fat babies because if they get sick it's not as dangerous for them if they lose weight because they can eat much. It's way worse for preemies. We've been there. We switched Drs. Hope that lessens your worry some.

Chloe is not okay when babies stay at hospitals for a long time without their mom, the doctors😷 will say the baby has rare conditions which means your baby will probably not live for a long time.😢 I’m sorry I had to say that ,but your baby will be fine and might live very long as possible and might be ❤️‍🩹 healing so that’s good when your baby is healing and might have a chance to live.
