It runs great and everything works good other than the clutch slips sometimes and I'm not able to go fast. Cause it doesn't pick up in speed that much after 4th gear. We've adjusted it a few times and one time it worked perfect and I could go fast but about a day after it was back to normal and slipping. I believe it's a bit wore because maybe the previous owner drove in to high of a gear or had their foot resting on the shifter. That's my guess. Or it might be a little dirty inside...
@@outlawwill5483 just did a clutch rebuild in mine. Was really easy. Amizon has the rebuild kits. I find that they are low end geared. Mine only does 45 - 50 km max 50km is pushing it pretty hard. They have decent amount of torch though for towing.
@mikedorman570 mine only does around 45 but one time I had it at 58 after adjusting clutch. How do you rebuild the clutch? Do you just pull the cover off and replace?
Boy you guys are full of crap and don't have a clue to pricing one of the best 4x4 atv's ever made. I am in Iowa. Two weeks ago I bought and had delivered a 2001 Kawasaki 300 Bayou 4x4 and paid $3500 delivered from a dealership a couple of hundred miles away. This is our fourth bike . We have three more all the same condition---MINT!!!!!!! I would not take 20K for all our bikes WITH the accessories that go with them. Snow plow and rear salt spreader on one, 20 gallon weed sprayer with rear mounted 50" boom, and the other two can rotate from pulling an atv rough cut mower and a DR road grader and leveler for gravel. All have lift kits, Spider Trac tires, winches, and extra LED light bars. We have a homestead of six acres and are retired farmers. Jim
@@outlawwill5483buddy --I was sticking up for you!!!!!!!!!!! You didn't buy it "You stole it" !!! I would have given $2000 or more for your bike. I love the "300's". Especially in your bike's condition.
like if you have one
where would i be able to buy a wiring harness for this at? amazon only has them in the 86-87 models.
I have no clue.. I bought this quad because I wasn't able to rebuild my old bayou from the 80s *no parts available
Full-time 4x4 or selectable?
It's full time 4x4
Any issues since you got it?

What do you mean I am full of crap? You can't find a quad in this good of shape being from 1994 around here. And only pay $1,200. I am in northern BC

@jameskiesau7543 oh I see. Thank you.
You over payed big time lol
Not in my area. I underpaid around here. A quad like that in the same condition would be sold for around 2500
Great meat & potatoes, reliable, unfancy bike. I like it.
