I'm a big fan of Modern on Inkster by Main, also Postale in St. B and little Sister in the village.
1)Thom Bargen
2) little sister
3) cafe postal
4) modern electric lunch
5) collosimo
Great list! Thanks for sharing!
No, Thom Bargen is shit..
Hildegard's Bakery Beats those all. Fools and horses at the forks is the worse. It is constantly great tasting coffee. Black of coarse. For me, it has to be in a mug. The paper and plastic ruin a good coffee.
The best coffee is always the one I’m currently enjoying.
Ha! Great perspective! Thanks for sharing! ☕️❤️
One more thing. Part of the experience is enjoying the coffee in a mug with nice surroundings.
So true!
Best coffee is home made coffee. Period!
Ha! So true! ❤️☕️
You must also try Thom Bargen, Lil Sister, Parlour and Cafe Postal. These are my top 4 in the city
Those are all great suggestions! I tried a few of those places on my ‘best iced coffee in Winnipeg’ video, and they were all amazing.
Thanks for sharing!
@@paulplett you should do a thing on the local roasters delucas black pearl ? gotta be others.
Yep, those are all better than what they tried. Sam's place is a new spot that's great as well. Also Make, is a classic that's been around forever and is always good.
I didn’t realize that doing a cafe crawl in the Peg could be a thing! Cheers!
Ha! Yeah, it’ll sure give you the jitters though! 🥴😉
I’m glad you liked Seven’s coffee-now go next door to Sleepy Owl for a cinnamon twist to go with it!
Ooh, fantastic idea!
**is a Winnipegger that hates coffee** **Also watched this, taking notes of all the cafes.**
🤣😂thanks for watching! 😉
Postal Cafe has the Best Lattes 👌. Then Scouts
Years ago when Le Garage got voted #1 best coffee, I tried it but Le Croissant had better coffee. You had to bring your own cup and fixins, but it was amazing
lol you gotta bring chuck on more adventures. this guy cracks me right up LOL
I know, right!? Chuck is amazing!
@@paulplett all jokes aside, i really do like what you are doing here for Winnipeg, it is very helpful and i plan on going to try some of the burgers you've shown on the other vid i saw. i was surprised that you never checked out Superboy's. but if you ever do a episode on Poutine's deeeefinitely check that place out for sure. hands down the best poutine in Winnipeg.
There used to be a coffee shop downstairs on River, under Kustom Kulture, that put cardamom in their coffee. Best thing ever.
Mmm, sounds delicious!
Thank you for the review of some of Winnipeg’s coffee shops. Nice to see my beautiful city’s shops reviewed and featured. Thank you! I’m going to visit these shops myself! Cheers
My absolute pleasure! Thanks for the ❤️ and support!
Thank you for featuring Winnipeg Coffee shops. I love empty cup and little sister
My pleasure! Thanks for the support! ❤️
I will have try out Good Earth coffee at some point.
Thanks for this video
Awesome! Glad you liked the video, thanks for the support! 😉
Everyone has their faves. I'll mention MAKE (Corydon), Postal (Provencher), Colissimo (three locations) and Modern (Inkster). All feature a distinctive ambiance plus some righteous roasts. Sure miss the Strong Badger (Sargent).
Thanks for sharing! ☕️❤️
Best coffee that I have ever tasted was at the old Porch on North McPhillips (no longer there). Coffee brand was Wellington.
I have never tasted a better coffee before 2016 nor after.
Wow, that must have been some great coffee! Thanks for sharing! ☕️ ❤️
i just tried Seven's the other day on a whim and it was the best mocha i've ever had by far. a real Diamond in the rough
Oh wow, that’s so great to hear! Glad you liked it, and thanks for sharing!
MAKE is also so good, and Modern Coffee is one I've been meaning to try.
Seven is one of my faves, i used to work nearby and i miss it.
Mountain Bean on Henderson should be tried.
Good call, I love Mountain Bean!
@@paulplett thats awesome to hear! family owns it
You must try A-OK CAFE in Polo Park Mall. The best in Coffee and Coffee ART IN WINNIPEG.
Thanks for the suggestion! I’ve got to check that out!
I’m a tea snob but I think Good Earth is the coffee I would like. Coincidentally, I’m heading to that shopping area this afternoon. Thanks for the review.
Ha! Awesome! I should do a ‘Best Tea in Winnipeg’ video sometime! 😉
Gotta try Collissimo Coffee Roasters at 145 Pacific Ave (Sport Manitoba building); 140 Provencher Blvd; or 877 Henderson Hwy.
Great suggestion! Thanks for sharing!
Owner's daughter goes to our local high school, so they brought coffee to a student fundraiser. Had never heard of them previously. The coffee was 💯!!!
My favorite is Thom Bargen.
Love Thom Bargen! ☕️❤️
If you go outside the city you MUST go to Elma for Trails End . It’s local and fantastic.
Wow, thanks for the suggestion! I’ve got to check that out sometime!
Surprised you didn’t go to Mountain Bean on Henderson Hwy!!!
I love Mountain Bean! Definitely need to feature them in the next coffee video! 😉
As usual anything north of Portage Avenue is forgotten. There are good coffee spots in Transcona and North Kildonan. For example, Mountain Bean on Henderson Highway that was owned by former Calgary Flames goalie, Trevor Kidd.
I love mountain bean! Definitely gotta feature them in the next video! 😉
??? They just rated Seven as the best, that's North of Portage on Wall Street.
Great video
Thanks! Glad you liked it!
You need to try Sheepdog Brew Co! Their Nitro Cold Brew is amazing!
Thanks for the suggestion! I love me a nitro cold brew! 😉
Personally I think Empty has the best coffee consistently - like they have a way they do it that it always turns out great, no matter which location you go to. In fairness, I’ve only tried Good Earth once, and I’ve never been to Seven. But Harrison’s is hit or miss to me. I also buy Empty Cup decaf coffee beans, and enjoy making my own drip coffee at home. But usually at the coffee shops, I’m getting a latte.
I love Empty Cup! Lattes are delicious too. 😉
Seven is great, as is Thom Bargen and Cafe Postal. Top spots for me.
All great choices, thanks for sharing!
Seven is a regular stop for me.
Great cafe, great coffee!
Try Folio Cafe!
Great idea! Thanks for the suggestion!
Next video, Winnipeg most modest coffee?
Ooh, I’m intrigued. What places would you suggest for that?
I enjoy Mountain Bean Coffee Co, should give that a try.
Great idea, thanks!😊
Deluca’s probably provides most of these places anyway.
🤣😂
I guess I'm just echoing what others have said, but Thom Bargen by a mile!!
Ha! Thanks for sharing! Looks like I need to make another coffee video! 😉
@@paulplett I've tried a few of their locations and my favorite is the Sherbrook location, if you do end up checking them out.
caution don’t drink coffee while driving on Winnipeg Streets 🕳️
Great advice! 😂🤣
The best coffee is from Boquete, zero bitterness. Most Canadians have never had good coffee
Sounds delicious! I’d love to try it!
@@paulplett Gold Star Coffee Inc. (Canada) imports the beans and roasts them, Reasonable price and free shipping with larger orders.
Thank you for damaging your health with so much coffee in one day so we don't have to
😂🤣 our pleasure!
Who cares, one day of coffee isn’t going to kill you! Honestly
Oh please. Some people just have to be miserable.
I'm sorry it was a bad attempt at humor I guess
@@TinaTheNaughtyDragon gotcha, now I see the humor, sometimes it’s hard via message to get the humor!
Can't believe you didn't go to Fools and Horses... 🤦♂
Ha! I know, right!? If I only had unlimited time and 💰… 😉
Best coffee in Winnipeg is Second Cup. End of story. If you are having coffee anywhere else you are wasting your time and money.
🤣😂
Is there even any left after the one on Graham closed? They were a big deal in the early '90s, I went often☕☕
@@caveman3021, there is one in Kildonan Place.
Also take a drive to Gimli - they have a couple of great coffee places, plus everything else that is there!
